The Bay City Yellowhammer Coffee trailer out near Mary G. Montgomery High School may be one of Yellowhammer’s smallest locations, but it’s definitely one of the friendliest! This is a drive-through only coffee trailer, making it quick and convenient — perfect for your morning coffee run or afternoon pick-me-up.
Nikki, the store manager, and her entire crew are absolutely wonderful — always upbeat, welcoming, and quick with a smile. They truly make every visit enjoyable and go above and beyond to deliver great service.
Yellowhammer has the best coffee in the entire Mobile area, and this location is no exception. The drinks are always consistent, delicious, and made just right every time. This spot is also one of the original Yellowhammer locations, and even though it’s small, it’s easily one of the nicest and most personable.
If you’re anywhere near Semmes or West Mobile, make a stop at the Bay City Yellowhammer trailer — great coffee, great people, and the kind of friendly Southern service that keeps you coming back!

My iced coffee was badly diluted and she put more ice in it, making it worse and there was no caramel drizzle. The coffee was straight with no sweetness! I paid extra for all that too! Wasted $8! We got better coffee here in Leakesville than that mass produced BS. Also these places are hard to find as they are not on Maps in the correct spot!

Today I got an item from their spring menu, the brownie batter frappe along with a piece of lemon iced sliced cake. This is hands-down, the best lemon cake I’ve ever eaten. It reminds me of something. My great grandmother would’ve made. So very fresh & when you bite into it…. The hint of lemon goes into your nose and your taste buds explode from happiness, it brings back wonderful childhood memories for me.
A MUST TRY!!!! You will not be disappointed with their service or the quality of their products I never have been! Would definitely recommend them to anyone.

They are hands down the best local coffee chain Mobile, AL has to offer!! From the atmosphere and amazing staff to unbelievably great coffee and treats!!! Definitely a must try!!!

The staff is so friendly. They will also give you recommendations of the way things taste of you ask. They recommended the cinnamon roll. I got the cinnamon roll latte made with almond milk. It is really good. If you like the Mardi Gra coffee then you should try the cinnamon roll

these people are cool as hell. its my coworkers birthday and i get the exact same thing every time i go there so i didnt know what specifically to order for my coworker but these guys figured it out AND wrote happy birthday on the cup AND ripped off the price thingy on the receipt which was smart bc my coworker threatened to pay me back.

I ain’t telling you how to spend your money but if you want to go to a coffee place and not feel like you wasted your money, I highly suggest yellowhammer They are always so kind and helpful. Even if you don’t know what you want you can ask them suggestions or tell them what you like and they always make/suggest something spot on! I’ve been going to yellow hammer since they’ve opened and have stuck to yellow hammer since. no other place in Mobile does it the way that they do! not once have I ever gotten a wrong order or a bad interaction with an employee in the years I’ve been going there and that alone should speak volumes as I’ve gone at the very least once a week every week for the last few years!
