Stopped by today for some goodies! Got the death by chocolate cupcakes and chocolate chip cookies. Sadly the french silk pies I’ve heard about have sold out, will continue to seek them out! But the staff are so friendly and it’s a very welcoming environment and of course, everything is delicious! I’ve got a vegan and gluten sensitivity family so having treats for them its wonderful!

I have been so excited EVERY time I step into the Caring Kitchen – both the Rancho and the Orangevale locations. I am both vegan and gluten-free, and until this bakery came into my life 5 years ago, I was sweet-less and sad. Their sweets, are creative, delicious, and so very satisfying. The staff is always very kind and helpful – they work so hard – and I truly appreciate the joy they have brought to the local vegan & gf (and now, top 9 allergen free) community. Definitely worth the 20 minute drive I have to make to go as frequently as I do!

This place is amazing! Im so happy to be able to get something that wont hurt me. I got the eggnog, gingerbread, and chocolate cream filled cupcakes. The vanilla Chai cookie and chocolate peppermint cookie sando. All great! While I was eating it, I forgot that its safe for me and panic for a moment before I remembered it is SAFE! Thank you for all you do at the caring kitchen and I hope to watch you thrive.

The best french silk pie I’ve ever had!!! None of our non vegan friends and family knew it was vegan and they too raved about its rich, decadent, not overly sweet, perfectly chocolate taste. The crust had little chocolate chunks in it too which was the best part. 11 out of 10!

My husband and I are vegan. We have no allergies and we have zero sensitivities to gluten. When I first heard of this location opening, my thought process was, “Vegan” (–YES!!!), “Gluten-free” (–…oh nooo…), then “Top 9 Allergen-free” (–welp, I guess I’ll try it once…), but let me tell you, EVERY SINGLE ITEM at this place is absolutely incredible. We come almost every week. For me, my previous experiences with vegan AND gluten-free desserts = sad and dusty. If a non-vegan shop had a vegan/gluten-free dessert, it really felt like it was to provide their customers with at least one option, and it tasted like they didn’t even try to make it taste good. Caring Kitchen is so good that I would recommend it to people who aren’t even vegan! I also don’t even like frostings but her frostings are super tasty and not overwhelmingly sweet! Another thing I struggle with is coconut-flavored creams and milks, which are often used in vegan desserts, but I don’t have this problem at Caring Kitchen!

Love the goodies here, and I don’t even have allergies. My grand-kiddo has anaphylactic food allergies, and this is first place they’ve been able to safely enjoy a treat. I’m so grateful for this bakery!
