We love a good BBQ restaurant and this little gem guys the bill. First off the staff were all very nice and quite helpful.

The food was just outstanding! My wife and I got the Nolan Ryan share plate with pork ribs, brisket and three sides (beans, potato salad, and collard greens) and corn bread. The meat was excellent BBQ but what really made this place stand out were the sides. These weren’t just out of the box sides, it was obvious these were home made, each one had great seasonings and flavors that made then really stand out from just standard fair sides.

My parents were with us and they ordered the pork ribs which they very much enjoyed. The ribs were quite large also, we all had left overs which we will be able to enjoy later.

We stopped in while driving through from out of town. You come in and stand in line to order. We went through quickly. Go to sit at the table and they will bring your order out to you.
The food is even better than anticipated. In fact, it’s amazing! It was reasonably priced as compared to other places. One meal was $17; the other was $15. The portion sizes are adequate to fill you without getting overstuffed. Both the food and service is excellent. I would definitely recommend!!

Was super excited to come try this place out at the old Country Boys location. The food and service was amazing. We got a pulled pork and brisket sandwich and both were super tasty. Will be back soon to try some more options. Try and go earlier so they’re not sold out of something specific. Glad to have more bbq in Cashmere!

The pictures just don’t do this food justice. My gal asked me where I wanted to eat for my birthday, and I knew I had to try the new BBQ place in town. I was not disappointed. The prime brisket was flavorful and tender. The sauce they provide for it compliments it perfectly without overpowering the amazing and complex flavor of the meat.
The pork belly burnt ends are little nugget of pure flavor drizzled perfectly in rich BBQ sauce. That goes great with the brick sized serving of cornbread I was given. (Half did not survive before a pic could be taken) Brick sized but definitely not brick dense. It was firm and broke apart easily to dip in the provided honeybutter, both added a wonderful sweet end to a perfect birthday lunch/dinner. Looking very much forward to my next visit. Thank you

Good food, service, and price. There are some craft beers on tap and bottled beers. Brisket sandwich and ribs were good! Fries were okay, but we recommend getting the corn bread.

Overall, Yellow Rose BBQ is a neat establishment located just East of Leavenworth in Cashmere right off the highway.

Update: I’ve been to Yellow Rose multiple times since they opened. I’ve sampled nearly all of the menu. I can say that everything has been delicious and the meats are consistently tender and juicy. We’re lucky you have such a quality BBQ joint in our town!

REAL Texas-Style BBQ is officially in the Wenatchee Valley and it’s great!

BEFORE YOU TRY:
Something to know about a LEGIT BBQ joint is often they run out of certain foods on a regular basis. This is a good thing! They never reheat and sell “yesterday’s stuff” so when it’s gone, it’s gone.

With that in mind, come early if you’re craving some great BBQ and don’t complain if you miss out on a certain meats (Brisket will often run out early).

MY EXPERIENCE:
The food was great! Smoked meats were tender and juicy. Add your own BBQ sauce to your liking (great for low carb/Keto foodies). All BBQ sauces were tasty and the sweet/hot sauce wasn’t burn-your-tongue-off “HOT”.

The Pork Spareribs were awesomely tender and juicy. A great hearty bite everytime!

The Pimento Cheese platter was surprisingly delicious! It was a large helping of Pimento Cheese spread with perfectly paired toppings to create a tasty bite! Easily would serve 4+ as an appetizer and will be something I order every visit.

MY CRITIQUES:
The Pork Belly Burnt Ends were tasty but chewy. Pork belly is naturally a fatty bite. These Burnt Ends needed to render in the smoker longer to convert the fatty-chewy bite into a softer rich tender juicy bite.

The Corn Elote side dish was good but needed a dash of “savory” to counterbalance the roasted sweet corn flavor. My solution at the time was salt, but I’d recommend Y.R. BBQ add grated Cotija cheese and this side would be irresistible!

OVERALL:
I’m very excited for Yellow Rose BBQ! I hope the community understands and appreciates the nuiances of real BBQ service because we have a real gem right here in Cashmere!

I ordered a half rack of ribs for $18+tax+tip which came dry, with two sauce choices. Sweet & spicy was not even the slightest bit spicy, only sweet. House bbq was fairly bland, could have been any premade bulk sauce for all i know. Ribs were quite dry and hard. No sides, just a few slices of pickled onions. Its full counter service where you order and pick up from the window, bus your own table, and get your own silverware and water, yet they ask you for an 18-20% tip at checkout.

The brisket was >50% fat, but great flavor. The pulled pork had less fat and a smoky flavor that I didn’t care for, but my husband loved. The potato salad tasted off, though I typically like that style. The collard greens had real ham, but were cold and soggy when we got them. The bbq sauces were amazing. We especially loved the sweet and spicy one. $50 for 1 brisket, 1 pulled pork, 1 medium potato salad, and 1 collard greens with very small portions of actual meat was expensive to us.

The atmostphere was open, covered patio, self serve bussing station. There is a restroom, but it really smelled.

Get there early if you want to eat as they sell out within a couple hours every day.

The best BBQ I have ever had, well balanced between meat, smoke, sides and sauces. Wish I lived here to come to this place regularly. Had the Noland Ryan platter….. perfect.
