I was told this was the place for smash burgers so I was excited to try it out. It is okay. It isn’t great, it certainly isn’t bad. I personally liked the heat the peppers give the burger, but my gf thought they distracted from the taste of the burger. Basically for me it comes down if I’m going to pay $14 for a double cheeseburger, it better be amazing. This is good but not amazing. For two double cheeseburgers, tots, and a tip you’re looking at almost $50. This is not $50 level of good.

Burgers are alright. Dope little spot tho! Staff are cool, dope patio vibes. Crispy tots and cold High Life’s were definitely a plus.

Great burgers and tots. I come here often. It’s a little on the pricier side but its a great burger. I love that they have the option to add multiple patties. You could easily split a single order of tots with another person, they hook it up ;). Oh and wow there are some good looking people that work there. Hottie central.

Times are tough. And I can’t in good conscience recommend a smash burger that costs $14.

Does it taste good? Yes, and the Old Bay-style seasoning they put on the meat adds a little flair to an otherwise obvious ripoff of In N Out (where a double double costs $6.15)

But if you add tots you’re looking at $20 (before tax and “tip”) for patties so thin they cook more like latkes. The menu says the patties are 3 oz each but that HAS to be net weight before cooking.

If money is no object to you or if you’re thinking about booking an 11 minute flight to outer space soon, you’ll probably like Yellow Paper.

The outdoor seating area is nice. Lots of kids running around when I went. I wish I could have kids but it’s not looking good…

I was told this place had good food. So I tried it this past Saturday, $9 for a single and $14 for a double. All you get is a burger. Everything else is separate. I got some tator Tots for $6.

All you taste is the lettuce, 3oz burger..

I could have gotten to in n out and got 2 doubles and had changed.

What a welcome addition to the neighborhood here in ER! We came in on an afternoon when the line wasn’t down the street which has been a great sign that we were missing something good. The vibe from the start was upbeat & welcoming. Everyone inside the building were working their tails off & yet still took the time to welcome us with a cherry Hello, welcome in! It was clear they were happy to be doing what they were doing. Even at an off time it was hoping. The lady who took our order was so friendly in answering our questions & made awesome recommendations. We went outside to grab a table in the beautiful seating area garden which was an awesome site. Great place for folks with dogs or kids who want to enjoy the outside a bit while waiting for our food. The food was really awesome. We had the burgers (of course) & tots with the yummy recommended dipping ranch. It was cool to see folks enjoying themselves with some BYOB around us. We made sure to let the team know when we were done how much we enjoyed it & got a big hug. We love supporting local here & I know the neighborhood is happy to have them here. Welcome to Eagle Rock YPB!

It’s my favorite smash burger. It’s got a little bit of spice with the chopped peppers and black pepper patty, which really makes it that much better. The flavors mesh really well and ever bite is delicious. It is pricey but I wouldn’t rate it lower for that. It’s good quality food, and a nice seating area outside which is awesome in LA. I’ve definitely paid more and less for a less satisfactory experience. Running a business costs more these days, and my $14 burger is paying for that. I get it. We’re always coming back for this treat!

Great customer service!!!!! Great burger too. It’s what I call a “home town” style burger, but with smash patties. The meat has lacey crispy edges. The bun was PERFECTLY TOASTED

Cute patio to hang out, eat & drink but the food is not worth the price. The staff is extremely friendly but unfortunately the food was not great. We dined in and grabbed our food as soon as our name was called and both burgers & tots were cold. Burgers have extremely thin patties, no option for fries and not a huge selection for soda. Overall a very cool place for the vibes and grabbing a beer but I advise passing on the food.
