We loved eating here! The atmosphere is wonderful. You have the option to build your own arepa which is fun. The arepa was one of the best I’ve had… so delicious. The French fries are amazing! Perfectly crispy, salted, and layered. I highly recommend the salchipapa and arepas. They have gluten free empanadas too!! Very rare to come by gluten free empanadas. They have a different flavor to them due to the corn dough but in no way is that a negative. The staff were very friendly. I will definitely come back here whenever in the Fort Collins area.

Yellow Crunch is such a cool little spot—it’s the only Colombian place in Fort Collins and honestly one of my favorite hidden gems. It’s in a shipping container tucked into this courtyard area, and you can just chill outside with your food. Super casual but has a great vibe.
The build-your-own arepas are amazing—so many good topping options and everything always tastes super fresh. The empanadas are also unreal. Like, don’t skip them. Crispy, flavorful, perfect.
It’s just one of those places that feels different from anything else in town, and in the best way. If you haven’t been yet, you’re missing out.

Awesome experience. Like eating the most delicious work of art. Last time I had the Picada mix entree; the pork belly was done to perfection. They also have Sad Panda on tap! This time I had the empanadas–4 of them in a flight. Great flavor in each, beef, chicken, vegetarian and nacho flavors. The servers were helpful, giving me time with the menu and answering all my questions. Outside seating was comfortable.

I love the arepas here. The shredded beef with avocado and sweet plantains was the perfect pairing. I also enjoy their salsa and cream that comes with it, great spice addition. Only had the arepa so far, looking forward to trying their empanadas.

Yellow crunch is fabulous! ✨ This Food took Me on a Trip Without a Passport ✈️ ️
I don’t know what kind of magic they put in this food, but the moment I took the first bite, I swear I wasn’t in Fort Collins anymore!! The flavors? Authentic. The spices? Bold but balanced. The textures? Perfectly cooked.
And the drinks amazing. You must try the Maracuyeah!! Can’t wait for them to expand and open the new restaurant

You can’t go wrong with anything on their menu! This is some of the best food in Fort Collins and is quickly becoming our go to when downtown! Can’t wait for their expansion and more seating inside on coolers days!

Great vegan options. Tasty food. Cute area made with shipping containers. I thought it was expensive for the amount of food.

Fantastic authentic Colombian food favorites with an awesome location in Old Town. Owned by a small business owner so its always great to support local. Natalie who works there has been great and the food is on another level. I am definitely returning so I can taste the whole menu!

After a few visits to Yellow Crunch, I’ve become a real fan—especially of their Picada Mix, which features pork belly, sausage, steak, arepa chips, and criolla potatoes. It’s a flavorful, satisfying dish that perfectly represents the hearty, Latin-inspired food this spot is known for. The dish comes with several mini-skewers, making sharing an easy option.
Located in The Exchange, one of Fort Collins’ most vibrant dining food court-like destinations, Yellow Crunch fits right in with the community’s creative and welcoming vibe. It’s a great place to grab a casual bite while enjoying the energy of the plaza.
As someone with a wheat allergy, I feel that “Yellow Crunch” refers to corn—a fun and fitting name, since many of their dishes are corn-based and naturally both wheat and gluten-free. With cattle and corn being two of Colorado’s biggest agricultural staples, this restaurant delivers both flavor and a sense of place.
If you’re looking for bold, comforting flavors in a laid-back setting, Yellow Crunch at The Exchange is definitely worth a visit.
