Amazing home cooked breakfast. Huge portions and it’s all made from scratch. Truly a local gem. Haven’t tried their lunch yet, but I’ve heard it’s just as good. That will be next up!

Came in for a late lunch today. Today on the menu was $2 bacon cheeseburger sliders. These burgers were merely sliders and had some awesome smoke flavor. I’ve been impressed with yellow brick house before but have never left a review. Tell all your people about this place!

Best breakfast in Denham Springs!!! Just the portion sizes they give you are huge! Literally 3-5 eggs, the sausage are blocks of meat, and the biscuits are huge.

Overall it was good, the sweet potato fries were delicious. The burger was good, just way too big. Bigger is not better when it doesn’t fit in your mouth. I’m sure what happened is they made the patty what they wanted the finished size to be and it puffed up like a baseball while it was cooking.

I feel like I walked into a future episode of Kitchen Nightmare after my experience here.
They had a Friday night seafood buffet for $28+Tax. The snow crab was cold and so salty we couldn’t eat it. Spoke to them about it and they said the crab is Pre-cooked, frozen crab and they just warm it. It was terrible.
They also had boiled shrimp that had been overcooked to the point it was mushy.
When I spoke to the manager about it they didn’t offer to refund us, or even offer anything at all to make it right. They just got defensive explaining that you can’t get fresh crab… in Denham Springs… east Louisiana… that’s absurd.
This was the worst seafood experience I’ve had in a long time.

Both the cashiers are very sweet and nice Chef Connie made our French toast and our eggs. Perfect just the way we like them. Enjoy coming here for breakfast.
