Great choice for breakfast or lunch in downtown Hammond. I usually order the Caliente with a side of chorizo. Put that in between those nice fried tortillas with a little Tapatio and you have a great meal. Service varies. Once when I was in service dropped off sharply while they were busy, but when I catch them between rushes service tends to be really good. Food is good and I think the prices are reasonable so this is a staple of ours for weekend brunch.

4th time here and I never have complaints about the food. Sometimes service is a little slow but they’re crowded. A dependable breakfast (nothing super fancy about it) spot with Mexican style options besides the typical American breakfast which I love so I can soothe my salty taste buds after black beans and tortillas with pancakes. Fresh squeezed orange juice (I recommend asking for a glass of ice on side in go cup to go with it). They have good size portions for the price

If you are into a Mexican/ American type breakfast ” one of my favorites” this is the place for you. It is amazing.. not just your boring eggs, bacon… MUST TRY!

This place is a nice little gem in downtown Hammond. Their fresh orange juice is to die for. Everything we ordered was pretty good. Some items non traditional but still good. I think my breakfast was a little bland when it came to seasoning but they probably have a large senior citizen demographic so I can understand why. Once I brought my food home and added a little extra seasoning, it was pretty good. I didn’t love everything about this place but I like it enough to come back. I’m sure there’s something on the menu that anyone can fall in love with, you just have to find it.

Maybe it was the time I went, but I have no idea how this restaraunt maintains above a 4.0 rating. Most of the food is bland and looks microwaved or cooked to the bare minimum, the service was incredibly slow, and the atmosphere was horrible.
