I stopped in here around 330pm to rest and refuel before the last leg of a long bicycle ride and I’m glad I did.
Service was exceptional.
Atmosphere was relaxed, patrons were friendly. It may change during the evening but in the afternoon i would describe it as “quiet but alive”. I felt comfortable and welcome despite barely speaking with anyone. the perfect dive bar atmosphere really.
The single beer off tap i had was great. Food was nothing special, but also inoffensive. zero complaints. other reviews say the chili dogs are quite good.
I’m glad I chose to stop here and I likely will again if I find myself craving a snack or a beer along the spring lake bike path loop. Next time I’ll try the chili dog. 🙂

Love this place! You’re treated like a regular the moment you walk through the door. The only seating is at the wrap-around bar, so it feels kind of communal with the other tavern goers. Strong drinks and decent prices, a really friendly staff and laid back atmosphere. If you like dive bars, this place is for you. Try the chili dog and warm pork rinds.

It’s a small hometown bar. It’s horseshoe shaped so all you can do is sit and drink and look at the folks on the other side of the horseshoe. No dance floor, no live music. They do serve some very good food, and the staff are always super friendly. If you make it a regular stop and get to know the patrons, you can have a ball!

First time in there had a blind date . Omg we had so much fun . The only bad thing was my pineapple juice was spoiled I about lost it .. but I was cool with it. The male bartender made me a new drink . My second drink was made by the female bartender again got spoiled juice . My question was why didn’t the guy dump it out instead of putting the bad crap back in the cooler .
