The staff was friendly, although it felt a bit forced, almost like the tone changed because a supervisor was sitting across the room. Unfortunately, the food and overall experience did not meet expectations.
I ordered the oatmeal (which only comes in one size), and it was mostly milk with very little actual oatmeal. It came with just one small piece of bread and a very small portion of raisins and almonds. No one offered milk on the side, cinnamon, or brown sugar (which they didn’t even have available), which was disappointing.
What really concerned me was seeing an employee clean the bottom of chairs, the part that sits on the floor, and then use the same cloth to wipe down the tables where customers eat. That’s not sanitary.
Drink refills were never offered, and no one checked on us during the meal. The only interaction we got was when we were already getting up to leave.
Also, be aware they charge extra if you pay with a debit card, so bring cash if you can.
I still left a tip for the server. Honestly, I didn’t feel the service earned it, but as a mother I understand what it means to depend on tips. I just hope management improves the quality and cleanliness moving forward.

I recently visited this restaurant and ordered the migas plate. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing. When my plate was brought out, I wasn’t offered any sauces and had to request them myself. Throughout the meal, no one checked in to see if we needed anything or offered a refill on my drink.

I left my plate at the edge of the table when I was finished, and only after a few minutes did someone come to pick it up. At that point, they noticed my cup was empty and finally asked if I wanted a refill. It would have been nice to receive that attention earlier.

I also feel that the price was too high for the amount of food provided. For what I paid, I expected a larger portion and better overall service.

Additionally, I noticed a staff member cleaning chairs from top to bottom and then using the same cloth to wipe down tables. That did not seem sanitary and made me uncomfortable.

I hope management can work on improving attentiveness, portion value, and cleanliness, as those details really impact the dining experience.

Overall a solid experience, but nothing particularly special or outstanding. This is a typical local restaurant — you know what you’re getting, and it’s consistent but doesn’t wow you. The staff was excellent: friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome. The atmosphere was pleasant and relaxed. I tried the coffee, which is strong and comes across a little bitter (which some people might like). In summary: not bad in any way, just very average and middle-of-the-road for the area.

One of our favorite, go-to eateries here in our town. Food is homemade and very, very good. Definitely made to order! The atmosphere is a nostalgic journey through Mexican cinema. Service is great-friendly staff and very accommodating . We’ve had two impromptu birthday parties, called at the last minute and they took us in and took care of everything we needed. Thank you! Highly recommend.

Beware the menu prices are deceptive, I ordered the Huevos Rancheros and for $9.35 you get 2 eggs, refried beans and potatoes, the bacon was $2.80 extra but when you order the Huevos Rancheros it says (add bacon or sausage) but it doesn’t say any cost, making me think it’s included.

The eggs were perfectly cooked over medium, the salsa for the eggs was tasty, the refried beans had a great taste, the potatoes were cold and salty but had an okay taste, the bacon was a thick cut and it was delicious.

The tortillas here are store bought and I’m not sure about how the place looks, the service was okay at best.

Overall the breakfast here is okay, but there is a lot of room for improvement.

The food and the service were not all that. Have eaten in better places and we had to ask other services for stuff the only time our waitress came to our table was towards the end to work her tip. I wouldn’t come back or recommend!

It’s a nice restaurant with beautiful wall paintings featuring 1950s Mexican celebrities. The Mexican food is excellent, and the service is great.
