I really enjoyed it. The etouffee deserves its status as specialty. As a fan of etouffee, this is definitely it, and the chili cheese isn’t a bad addition. The rice is fantastic, very well made. The garlic bread is a touch heavy with butter, but other than that, it’s excellent.

A good place for a quick lunch. The menu is simple with only handful of items. They pre prepared and ready to serve. We ordered half/half of drunken chicken/spinach mushrooms and chipotle chicken/mockshoe. Both are served with bread. Both were good. We liked them very much. The plates are not very big, I thought they were too small for lunch. But I was wrong, they were heavy. They have a layer of rice at the bottom covered with the choice of gravies which were full of butter, cream. So, it was so filling. I would visit again for a quick lunch.

WOW! What a refreshing unique delight for my tastebuds! This fantastic food is creole style and not only were we welcomed with a charming greeting, we were offered some samples of the food! EACH item we both tried was absolutely amazing! I ended up ordering the B &B which is a vegan dish served atop white rice that was absolutely heavenly!!! I further enjoyed the small (alcohol) bar options they have, and had a well drink (house Whiskey, Vodka, Tequila, with mixers etc.) for $4 that was a larger drink and very generously made! They also offer many craft beers and wine as well. They have a wonderful ambience inside, nice music, an indie vibe, and charming lighting, but we chose to take advantage of the outdoor seating and great weather. Check this place out!
I should have taken a picture of the inside setting too, oops!

Absolutely amazing. One of the best meals I’ve had in Columbus. I had the chili cheese etouffee with crawfish and it was absolutely superb. The amount of food you get and the quality of the food for the price is almost unparalleled in this area. My boyfriend got the chicken creole and his was also delicious. Everything had so much flavor and the stews were all so wonderfully rich which was balanced out nicely by the rice. The bread was also incredible and had some sort of garlic butter with seasoning that was fantastic on its own and even better when dipped in the stews. The service was friendly and accommodating which was especially nice as it was our first time there. It definitely won’t be our last time eating there, though. We plan to make yats one of our go-to lunch and dinner restaurants.

Honestly this used to be a good place to go but lately the amount of food you get is mostly rice and very little of the Cajun food. I mean what you get is actually good but it’s just mostly rice anymore.
And also it would help if there was more than one employee running the whole store.

Pleasurable experience, great food, cold beer, friendly prompt service.
I had the red beans and sausage over rice with garlic bread and it was delicious! It really doesn’t get any better than this!

Authentic Creole food! It’s fabulous! I drive an hour just to eat here. It’s that good! My favorite go-to is the gumbo. I’ve eaten here at least a dozen times and have never been disappointed with the food, service, or cleanliness of the place.

Very good taste and price for the food. Went for lunch and orders were done within 5 minutes. Picture is half and half, only $10.50.
Update 6/14/2023: price is still the same and taste is still

I went with the Half/Half chipotle chicken and white chicken chili. The chipotle didn’t have a big impact on flavor as I was hoping for, but the White chicken chili was extremely good. I opted for extra bread, and I am glad I did. The bread was toasted and complemented both meals perfectly. I really enjoyed the music that was played, it’s refreshing to hear hard rock. If I was in Columbus again I would most likely comeback.
