I stopped by with my kids. We were shopping in the area and they were hungry. I didn’t get anything but they got 2 slices of pizza. We left it a room temperature so it wasn’t to hot for the baby and we had zero wait time. I would definitely recommend stopping by if your in the area!

We celebrated a family Sheva Brachos at Circa Lakewood and were truly impressed. From the first greeting to the last course, the staff was organized, patient, and incredibly attentive. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and plated with care; courses flowed on time, and special requests were handled graciously. The room felt warm and elegant, and our guests kept complimenting both the food and the service. Thank you Aron for making our simcha so memorable. We’ll be back—highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We did a private party. The food was very good. I can’t give more than a 3 for service. The service at the party was very good, our waiter was nice and very helpful. The “service” in planning the party was difficult. The atmosphere did not get a 5, because we made a daytime event. It was a beautiful day with the sun shining brightly. Problem, NO SHADES. The room was extremely hot. Was a bit embarrassing when the guests of honors had to keep moving their tables to get out of the sun. So, for evening event your good, unless they get shades.

The pizza is dreadful have tried it twice first time being plain, and second time being a pesto and margarita. The cheese is like chewing rubber, sauce has no flavor, on top of somehow being Dry and dripping with grease 4.50$ for each slice. The place is clean and the service was great. The pizza is terrible. Tried the sushi it’s one teir above gas station sushi tasted old.

Poor treatment by a Supervisor “Zack” who said I should feel free to write a review. He is not good at speaking to people politely nor did he have any regard for my stay at the Circa. I spoke to several employees who confirmed that this isn’t a surprise. If anyone from the hotel cares to know the entire incident I will send it to you via email as I reached the character limit in this box.
All of this over a scooter smh.
My stay July 9-14

Fast and consistent service!
Ordered lunch for the office, with Lakewood traffic it arrived on time for lunch.
Fresh food, great pizza and lots of options.

Awesome place to go have sushi! Probably the best one I’ve gone to so far. The fish was really fresh and you could tell the chef knows what he’s doing! Awesome guy! It was definitely a delicious experience and I’d recommend to all my friends!!

CIRCA — WHERE EVERYONE PRETENDS THEY “JUST CAME FOR A QUICK BITE” AND ENDS UP STAYING TWO HOURS
Circa is one of those places in Lakewood where you walk in “just for something small,” and suddenly you’re sitting there like a mentch, schmoozing for an hour, analyzing the whole oilam walking in and out, and wondering how the place manages to stay this calm even when it’s packed.
THE VIBES
Circa has that perfect blend of classy-but-not-over-the-top.
You feel comfortable walking in straight from seder, but also comfortable bringing your parents, your chassan/kallah, or that cousin from Brooklyn who thinks Lakewood doesn’t have “real restaurants.”
(Trust me — Circa will take care of that gaavah fast.)
SERVICE
The staff is smooth, quick, and somehow always one step ahead — like they mamish know you’re about to ask for extra dressing before you even chap that you need it.
And no matter how complicated your order is (“sub this, switch that, no onions, but like maybe a little onions, and can you put the sauce on the side but also on the top?”) — they smile and make it happen. Real pros.
THE ATMOSPHERE
There’s something about Circa that just works.
You come in starving, you leave full — but more importantly, you leave calm.
It’s like the restaurant version of a good shmuz: settles you, resets you, and gives you the energy to go back into the Lakewood traffic and fight for your parking spot like a warrior.
SPECIAL MENTIONS
Perfect for meetings
Perfect for birthdays
Perfect for “boys’ nights out” when no one can decide where to go
Perfect for when you simply need to sit down and pretend you’re a functioning adult for an hour
MY PERSONAL TAKE
Every time I eat here, I leave thinking:
“I should really come more often.”
And then I do. Because Circa is that rare Lakewood spot that’s consistent, reliable, and always feels like the right choice — no matter the matziv.
Highly recommended. Just maybe come a few minutes early — Lakewood parking is still Lakewood parking, even for a place as geshmak as this.
