Everything was amazing. I had the mango chicken and it was delicious — very flavorful and cooked perfectly. I also ordered sushi — the spicy salmon roll, California roll, and shrimp tempura roll — and it was the best sushi I’ve had in a while. Everything was fresh and so well made.
The spring rolls were also really good, and I ended the meal with the matcha tiramisu, which was delicious.
Our waitress Sharron was so nice and attentive — she really made the experience even better.
I will definitely be back. So excited to finally have a go-to sushi spot!

Update: Came back recently and everything was really good.
The shrimp tempura was crispy, the spicy roll had a nice kick, and the spring rolls were golden and not greasy. The mango chicken was sweet and savory and cooked well.
Great food and a great experience again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Who knew you could get such amazing Asian food in little bitty Strasburg. Honestly, this place competes with some of the nicer sushi/asian restaurants in Denver. I had Pho, my husband had the sashimi platter, and the grandson had hibachi noodles with chicken. All top quality taste and presentation. Our waitress was generous, kind and just an all-around lovely person. The restaurant itself is kind of small but their take out business was nonstop. My advice to you is make the drive you won’t regret it!!

The stunning presentation grabbed our attention right away, but the freshness and flavor blew us away. The sashimi was buttery and rich, the rolls were perfectly balanced, and every bite tasted like something from a top-tier coastal restaurant. I’ve paid way more in major cities for sushi that wasn’t half this good.
Service was warm and attentive, portions were generous, and the cozy atmosphere made the whole meal feel special without being stuffy. If you’re anywhere near Strasburg, Yatai Asian Kitchen is absolutely worth the stop, we’d happily drive out of our way again for this sushi.

Had dinner with the kids at Yatai’s. Everything was fresh and very delicious. We started with the salt and pepper fried chicken. The kids shared the Fish and Bliss for two which came in this really cool jade dragon with lots of different sushi pieces. Hubby ordered the Onion soup and the combo fried rice. I ordered the combo Hibachi entree.

Yatai started as a food truck in Bennett And quickly took root in every small town along the i-70 corridor, establishing itself as the best Asian food east of Denver. Anna is quite possibly the hardest working woman I think I have ever met. Please come and support Yatai as they put down roots in their first brick and mortar location. You won’t be sorry, their food is unparalleled And I look forward to their menu expansion!

We had such an amazing experience at Yatai Asian Kitchen! The food was absolutely delicious from start to finish. We started with the bacon cheese wontons—they were so good we didn’t even get a chance to snap a photo before devouring them!
The toro nigiri was incredibly fresh and literally melted in our mouths. Each piece was beautifully presented and full of flavor. We also tried three different rolls, and while they were all great, the Yatai Roll definitely stood out as our favorite—perfectly balanced with just the right amount of sauce.
