I had the spicy chicken sandwich. Definitely not bad! Being a native Texan, my idea of spicy is probably different, so for me, it wasn’t that spicy. But it was definitely delicious. Nice crispy piece of chicken. And it was a huge slab of chicken! The fries are always really good here. I really enjoy visiting when I’m in town.
The atmosphere is really nice, but the music is loud enough that it’s hard to hold a conversation. Not impossible, just you have to kind of raise your voice and I ask people to repeat themselves way too often.
The Food: They were prepared quickly. Fresh ingredients & plating nicely. I really enjoyed the grilled chicken & avocado burger.
The Parking: Plaza parking structure. They validate parking, 90 minutes free. After that $1.5 every 30 minutes.
We got a small booth and it had an electronic device for self ordering. It was a great little device but even with it, we still had a very attentive server who checked on us constantly which we greatly appreciated.
I’ve been to lots of other Yardhouse location and this one is probably the best one for quality of food. I went to another location a few days ago and the quality of fish wasn’t as great as here. We had the tuna tataki, spicy edemame, crispy cauliflower, chicken tenders with sweet potato fries, chicken lettuce wraps and poke nachos. Also a single crispy fish taco.
All the appetizers were delicious and at happy hour prices! Even without happy hour prices they were worth the price. Lots of tv’s to watch the game no matter where you’re at in the venue.
I’d definitely come back again to try their other menu items. Only thing is parking isn’t free , they validate though. I walked but from past experience it ends up being like a dollar or two for parking within two hours.
