Love the environment, the music is great. Food is ok depending who is cooking, if the effort is made. Beers are good only issue is how most of the time they don’t attempt to fill it up, not to the rim but to get what I am paying for, then my visit yesterday I notice that one of the pub glasses was smaller that the other, same height of the cup but one of the cups were slimmer. So less beer but for the same price and they tend to skimp the amount almost every time. First pic is of the difference size cup other ones are from previous visits. Only reason I go back is because the environment.

Surprisingly good for a chain restaurant. The 20 oz. Ribeye was huge and cooked perfectly. The appetizers and sides were all good and the mixed drinks seemed to be prepared from scratch. Service was outstanding and the environment was welcoming and somewhat spread our so it didn’t feel overcrowded even though the restaurant was quite busy.

I definitely recommend Yard House. It’s one of my go-to spots for lunch. The atmosphere is always great and the food is consistently good.
Their menu has a little bit of everything, so there’s usually something for everyone. My favorite thing to order is the shrimp tacos — they’re always fresh and flavorful.
Just keep in mind that you may end up spending a little more than expected, but in my opinion it’s worth it for the quality, the variety on the menu, and the overall experience. I’ll definitely keep coming back.

Reviewing this in January of 2026. I’ve been here about 20 times. The location is consistent with their quality of food and service as well as cleanliness. It’s similar to most locations with lots of on-tap beer options, a mix of tables and booth seating inside and a limited number of tables under a covered outside seating area. Overall this place hits all the right notes and is worth a visit. Bonus shout out to the owners for displaying original local art on the walls. I find it refreshing to see chains make that extra effort to connect locally.

recently visited Yard House at Baybrook in Houston with a party of four, and overall, we had a great experience. The food was definitely the highlight of the evening, every dish we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. From appetizers to entrées, the variety on the menu was impressive, and it catered well to different tastes in our group. The portion sizes were generous, and everything came out at the right temperature.
The atmosphere was another strong point. Despite being a popular spot, it wasn’t overly loud, which made it easy to have a conversation without shouting across the table. The lighting and décor gave the place a nice vibe trendy but still comfortable.
As for service, our waitress was friendly and welcoming, but there were a few hiccups. She seemed to forget about us a few times during the meal, which led us to ask another staff member for assistance on a couple of occasions. It wasn’t a dealbreaker, but it did slightly affect the flow of the dining experience. To her credit, when she was present, she was polite and accommodating.
Drinks were also a win here. Yard House is known for its large beer selection, and they didn’t disappoint. We tried a couple of seasonal options and were pleased with the recommendations.
All in all, Yard House at Baybrook is a solid choice for casual dining with friends or family. Great food, a relaxed yet lively atmosphere, and a wide drink selection make it worth a visit. Disappointing Visit – Poor Beer Availability
We visit this location frequently, and while the food is consistently great, the service can be hit or miss. Normally, we enjoy our meals here, but our most recent visit was a letdown.
One ongoing frustration is the beer selection. About 80% of the time I’ve ordered a beer here, they’ve been out of what I wanted. This visit was no exception—and it was even more disappointing because we specifically came to try their advertised Oktoberfest menu.
I ordered the Bier Brat Sliders and a beer from their Oktoberfest list. After a while, our waitress returned to say they were out of that beer. I ordered an alternative from the same Oktoberfest menu—only to later find out they were out of that one too. On her third trip back, she informed me that they were completely out of all the Oktoberfest beers.
The food itself was pretty good, but for a place that prides itself on having a large beer selection, the poor availability was really frustrating. Unfortunately, after this experience, I decided not to order any beer at all.
We usually enjoy coming here, but the repeated issue of being out of key menu items—especially featured beers—is disappointing and really takes away from what could otherwise be a great experience.

We visit Yard House very often, but tonight was extra special. We celebrated my fiancé’s birthday and Claudia was amazing! She was incredibly helpful and sweet. Our other server was just as great—both of them were very understanding and friendly. They truly made our experience feel even more special. We’ll definitely be back, as always!

We eat at Yard House all the time because we like the food. But last night the standout was the service. Our waiter, Brennan, was incredible. We sat in the outside section on a chilly 37 degree evening- wouldn’t be my first choice but we were hungry. He made sure we were comfortable and had the heater turned down above us since it was too high. After that the temperature and setting was perfect. Throughout our meal he checked on us, offered great recommendations, and was so genuine and pleasant. Couldn’t have asked for better service or a more perfect evening.

I’ve been here several times & it’s always good. Accommodates smaller groups as well as a larger one with easy. The tuna stack is one of my favs, the blue cheese & bacon burger was also delicious as is the vampire tacos.
