I went to Yard House in Vernon Hills with two friends on a Saturday right when they opened at 11AM. We were greeted right away and seated at a roomy booth.
My first impression of this place is that it’s huge with a large bar and a lot of tap beer!
Our waitress, Debbie, was extremely friendly and personable, we all really liked her. She showed us the electronic menu on the table, which had photos of all the food items on the menu- super helpful!
We order the Spicy Tuna Stack and garlic noodles to start, both were delicious. We also ordered the brussels sprouts, which we didn’t like at all. We sent them back because they were oily, over sauced, and didn’t taste good.
For entrees we order the steak bowl, sliders, and Cobb salad with chicken. All were good! Only complaints are that I requested no bacon in my salad but it had bacon anyway, and we requested sweet potato fries with the sliders but received regular. The waitress took care of the fries right away and they did offer to adjust the salad but I kept it and just scooped the bacon out.
Overall, friendly staff, some hit or miss items on the menu, nice atmosphere.

A high end sports bar experience. Went here with family to celebrate a special occasion. The environment was not conducive to a celebration with the noise and environment. It wasn’t a bad experience just not one where you could hear anyone speak much less yourself think.
Overall, food portions were incredible ans food overall wss good. They could tweak the quest a bit. The soft shells they served with it were gummy and thr ground beef was underseasoned. The carnivore pizza was delicious and well-done. Overall a good experience. We would definitely try this place again, just not for a more intimate family gathering.

Server was lovely, wish I could remembered her name. Blond, about 42 years old, white lady. She was attentive, mannerable, helpful and patient. We are definitely going back. The food wasn’t bad. I forgot chicken wings as well, a bit under seasoned for me but hey, we all have different taste. I would go back though. Definitely going back. Nice atmosphere, clean restaurant, price isn’t bad either.

Upscale bar with tons of options for drinks whether is beer or cocktails. We were there for happy hour so we only got two food items, the pizza and calamari. Calamari was pretty good but the pizza left a lot to be desired, I personally wouldn’t recommend.

We were there for my birthday on Valentine’s Day. Expected to wait and be rushed. Exactly opposite! Very pleased. Cheese burger I ordered was excellent. My friend had the pork chop and raved about it. Will definitely be a frequented restaurant.

First time at this restaurant as we fancied a change from Lazy Dog. There is plenty of parking and very easy to access. I walked in and was ignored by the three hosts at the stand, engrossed in their personal conversation – no worries I could see my friend was seated at the bar and went to join her. Jenni and Omar were our bartenders and they did a great job of being welcoming and efficient. The happy hour menu is excellent . I enjoyed my Lavender Drop very much and they were happier to make it weaker – though the giant ice cube does make it a little difficult to drink! The salads were delicious and came out promptly.
There are plenty of big screen TVs if you are there for sports but they aren’t intrusive so it would be easy to just enjoy the space.
Overall a good experience and I will return!

It’s a bold boast to say you have the most draught beers in the world! Amazing selection of beer, so many It’s hard to choose, so I opted for a flight of 4 small IPAs before choosing a proper pint. Food was good quality and service great. Would have vistited again but ran out of time, definitely worth returning to!

The vibe and friendly service made it a really pleasant night out with friends. The beer was great as expected, and although the food was a bit underwhelming, especially the pizza, the poke nachos were the highlight and the wings had a nice savory pepper kick. Overall, we still had a great time.
