The Yard House restaurant is a popular and well regarded American casual dining restaurant chain that’s known for offering guests superbly made burgers, pizzas, salads and other delicious dishes.
In July of 2025, I brought and treated my wife and myself for dinner at the Yard House, specifically the branch located at the Palisades Center at West Nyack, New York and we very much enjoyed our dining experience.
The restaurant’s staff warmly greeted us upon arrival, and quickly provided us with a very large and comfortable dining table. Our server, Destiny D. was kind, welcoming and unquestionably professional. She did a great job on taking our menu orders, addressing our inquiries and always checked to make sure that we were having a great time. The Yard House is truly fortunate to have Destiny D as a member of their team.
In addition to the great service, both my wife and I were in awe of the restaurant’s energetic and vivacious atmosphere. We were impressed with its modern and stylish decor, and its display of multiple large television screens which feature live sports events and popular music programming. Guests also have access to a lively sports bar which features a vast collection of beers and cocktails.
Last but certainly not least, my wife and I absolutely enjoyed our meal!!! We found our guacamole and chips appetizer tasty and delightful!!! I ordered and loved my burger based entree while my wife ordered and loved her whiskey glazed salmon entree. We found our meals to be perfectly cooked, superbly seasoned and highly delicious!!!
All in all, we very much enjoyed our dining experience at the Yard House, and highly recommend for everyone to visit and dine at this great restaurant!!!

Have been doing take out with them on a few occasions and the food is great the Philly Sandwich is amazing. The only thing is when we do take out the wait time is not great. When you ask the host for the order they go to the back and you wind up waiting a while for them to come back, then they have to pack the order and even though they give you an estimated time its usually never ready. Would definitely need improvement there.

We had an amazing experience at Yard House this past weekend. Andre was our server. He made us feel like we were old friends just catching up, not customers being served. His energy, friendliness, and attentiveness were top-tier. The drinks were great, the food was really good, and Andre’s service took everything to the next level. We’ll definitely be back and hope to have him again.

The chicken lettuce wraps with the sauce are the best I have EVER had! We love coming for these! My child was devouring the pizza before I could get a better picture! The Maui chicken dinner is phenomenal!!!! My husband loved his burger! Our server Malia was she was amazing!!! So attentive friendly and nice! She was on top of table drinks and other needs even on a busy Friday night! Thank you so much for a great meal! My family and I really enjoyed our meals and time together thank you for the fun family dinner !!

My family and I went to Yard House at the Palisades Mall on Saturday, February 28th, and I have to say — this visit completely changed my opinion.
We’ve eaten here plenty of times before, and honestly, I was never impressed. But this time? Completely different.
Our server, Greg, was hands down the most patient, professional, and knowledgeable waiter I’ve experienced anywhere. Not just at Yard House — anywhere. The guy knew the menu inside and out. Every recommendation he made was on point. He answered every question confidently, made sure our food came out fresh, checked on us consistently without hovering, and genuinely cared that we enjoyed everything.
He even brought out sauce samples for the wings so we could pick exactly what we liked. That level of service is rare.
On top of that, he went out of his way to have the Mets game put on for my son to watch. He didn’t have to do that — but he did. That’s attention to detail. That’s caring about your customers’ experience.
We may have been at Yard House, but Greg made it feel like a 3 Michelin-star experience.
Major respect to the manager on duty as well — hiring, training, and maintaining staff like Greg doesn’t happen by accident. That’s strong leadership.
We will absolutely be back, and we’ll be asking for Greg every time. If you go, do yourself a favor and request him. You won’t regret it

Great spot for lunch (and probably happy hour and dinner too!) – very impressed by the food! I had blackened salmon over kale and quinoa – 600ish calories and very healthy! Of course there were also SO MANY other delicious choices – burgers, sandwiches, entrees and apps – that looked great. Huge beer selection. Reasonably priced. Great service!

Great food and service especially for a chain restaurant! We come to this specific location frequently because of the friendly staff and the consistently high quality food. The dishes look just their photos. Whoever is running the kitchen knows how to handle high volumes well. Servers are prompt with refills and food is served to your table at reasonable times. Friday and Saturday date nights at YardHouse are a great way to end the week and enjoy a tasty dinner with a sweet treat for dessert. The table tablet is very convenient for easy ordering, paying by card and even splitting the bill if you’re with a large party. YardHouse is always a good time!

This place is huge. Big American lounge bar, with 120 différents beers, also mini tasting beer, it’s impressive! It s nice and clean. Menu is amazing with lot of choices, also we can see pictures of every dishes on a pad, and call the waitresses on a pad. Service is fast and our waitress was lovely. The food was a big portion, and tasted delicious.
