Kind service. Quiet restaurant. Okay food.

I ordered fried rice and it did not contain one single vegetable, not even the standard green onion. The hot tea was delicious. The rice had some flavor but required soy-sauce to take it to enjoyable.

There is something about a sticky table that really bothers me. On a scale of 1-5 stickiness – our table was a definite 3 1/2.

I normally don’t write reviews (at all) but this place really blew me away. Delicious food, big portions, and great prices.

So a friend and I came here just before our train ride back to Seattle, and wow do we wish we came here sooner. We ordered the Mongolian Beef, Shrimp Foo Yung, Egg Rolls, and Crab Rangoons.

The Mongolian beef was delicious. Visually, the dish had a wonderful pop of color (green/red bell peppers, zucchini, onions, carrots) which was balanced by the glistening dark brown of the beef. When it came to the flavor of the dish, it was delicious. A very hearty flavor and a big portion to match.

The Shrimp Foo Yung was just as delicious, covered in a beautiful brown gravy, the Foo Yung itself was very soft and light (I could eat a lot of these). I loved mixing the sauce and rice especially. Together, each bite was so light yet filling.

Both the Egg Rolls and Crab Rangoons were delicious. I could honestly get addicted. I loved the way the Crab Rangoons were presented. The Egg Rolls were crispy on the outside with a big amount of filling. By the time I ate some of the Mongolian beef and half a egg roll I was already so full.

Everything came out to be around $62 dollars or $31 dollars per person with quite a lot of leftovers. On our train ride back we continued to eat the rest of the food.

Overall, this place is a great find offering a plethora of great dishes along side fantastic prices. A 10/10 in my book

Food was excellent! The batter on the chicken was light and tasty! Egg roll was amazing and crab cakes melted in my mouth. The pork fried rice was made to perfection.

I’ve eaten here on several occasions and find it to be at the utmost a downright disgusting place to eat. The service was subpar. The atmosphere was quiet. On a scale of 1 to 10. I think they deserve a -100. I don’t recommend this place to even feed my animals. Heck I wouldn’t even recommend them to feed the rats in the city. If you choose to eat here you choose to eat at your own risk.

Rich amount of food at the lunch special… Most of it self-prepared I’d say. Yet, I was severely missing flavors. Thanks to multiple good shots of soy sauce, it was enjoyable, after all.
Price at lunch is quite ok.

Don’t bother dining here. The food was tasteless and unappealing. I ordered egg foo young, sesame chicken and sweet and sour chicken. I have enjoyed beautiful plates of sweet and sour chicken at other restaurants that came with chunks of red and green peppers, onions and pieces of pineapple. Not here! The sweet and sour sauce was the tastiest thing on my plate and that was all that adorned the deep fried chicken chunks. The so called sesame chicken was pieces of dry chicken tenders with no sauce. Again, I have eaten a very tasty sesame chicken dish at other restaurants that came with a delicious sauce and sprinkled with sesame seeds. The egg foo young was just brown and tasteless. As I said at the beginning, don’t waste your time or money at this restaurant.

The host was very friendly and though we showed up quite late they stayed open and insisted we could finish our food and not worry about it. The host even gave a soup sample to try the hot and sour soup, which we ended up ordering. Food was very tasty, and the portion sizes were very fair. If im ever in Kelso again, I’ll definitely eat here again.
