Worst pizza I’ve ever had, the pizza was overcooked and when we told the waitress she said sorry but it’s nothing she could have done, we also waited for over 45 min. Then I asked for the manager and he stated this is how they do the pizza and to asked them next time to cook it for less time. My son has braces and he couldn’t even eat a full slice. It was so hard and the fact that I told the manager and he walked away and told the waitress to charge me, it’s unacceptable. I don’t ever complaint but I left with 3 hungry boys and had to get them food again elsewhere. They treated us with no respect or regards. I even demonstrated how hard it was and left the pizza at their counter since they just walked away like I was not there!

We order take out twice. Both times were awesome!! The chicken parm croissant, meatball sub, seafood stuffed shrimp, eggplant parm, chicken orzo, mozzarella logs and French fries were all fantastic! We will definitely be back the next time we visit Connecticut!

Great food and great service from Heather, who got everything right. The Chicken Piccata special couldn’t have been any better. Veggies and rice were cooked perfectly. Their cheese sticks appetizer might fill you up they’re so big. Every visit there has been satisfying. Prices reflect the high quality but aren’t outrageous.

This is a very good Greek-style pizza. The dough is pounded up the edge of the pie, which is unique compared to many of the Greek pies I grew up with.

Hits all the main criteria for this style of Pizza: sauce with a kind of sweetness, crispy undercarriage with sheen (pan-cooked), and a fair amount of cheese supported by the crispy crust.

This is a very good pizza; it’s a great pizza for the price. If Greek style is your jam – and your in the Newington area – you have to give this spot a try.

We took my wife’s parents here tonight for dinner, it’s one of their favorite places. For a Greek style pizza place they have some great food. We haven’t tried the pizza yet but someday. Today I had the baked stuffed shrimp special with cones with soup or salad and a choice of side. I chose the Italian wedding soup which was excellent and the fries for a side which were really good. Crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, perfect really. The baked stuffed shrimp were really good as well, and contained 3 good sized shrimp. My wife had the buffalo chicken salad which she enjoyed and said was very “buffalo-y.” My in-laws both had the rack of lamb special which they loved. I tried a couple pieces and I concurred. They also ordered a slice of carrot cake for dessert which we all shared and enjoyed. I enjoyed it and hope to get back to try some more of their food.

This is a takeout review. All food is eaten promptly in the vehicle. I had fries, meatballs, and a pepperoni pizza. The fries were quite good, crispy on the outside, nice and soft on the inside. The meatballs were excellent, nicely packed, moist, tender, and great flavor. The pizza was very nice also, good crust, nice sauce, and good flavor. On a scale from 0-10 I would rate this 8.5.

I was very disappointed. I didnt realize that their pizza sauce was very sweet. Too sweet is was hard to eat. Everyone was very disappointed and I feel that they should have it printed somewhere that their sauce is more sweet than savory. The sugar ruined the entire pizza and we ordered a party size 1 topping as well as a red sauce Margherita pizza. All pretty expensive and very disappointed.

Enjoy going there on the weekends, great staff with awesome portions. This time I decided to try the special sweet potato crusted salmon with orange ginger dressing. I got a side of veggies and mashed potatoes not pictured. The fish was huge and
I had enough to take home. Entree comes with soup or salad I opted for salad.

I have loved Yannis since I tried it like 3 months ago! It’s so delicious, the food is huge and the prices are decent! The grinder are amazing! You buy an 8 inch grinder, eat half, and you’re good to go! It fills you up (obviously for those who don’t need much to fill you up with) the food is so well seasoned and so delicious. The French fries are so good. I’ve had their salads and the salads are HUGE! So if you want a grinder, salad, French fries, onion rings, or even a ginger ale, eat at Yannis. It’s worth it. The service was great, our waitress was so nice and the food came out fast. The atmosphere felt friendly and clean as well.
