Was barley acknowledged the whole time. No one told us there was a sauce bar. Food was subpar. We ordered two different broths, when asked for more he came over and dumped the same broth into our individual pots.

I have been to many hot pot restaurants, mostly on the east coast. New York, Philadelphia, and New Jersey. All those restaurants blow this one out of the water by a long shot. This location is probably the worst I have ever eaten in. Broth was bland, meats were ok, instead of shiitake mushrooms I was given baby portobello. The choices of making your own dipping sauce, were minimal. Even though the waitress wrote down what meats and vegetables I ordered, I kept reminding her of the ingredients she was missing. It also seemed that she wasn’t happy about the costumers being there. I will definitely not be coming back here again. Another thing, no privacy whatsoever. I could hear people talk three tables away, annoying.

The all-u-can-eat hot pot is a good deal for $24.99. A soda or hot tea will run you $3. The make your sauce bar is really nice with lots of choices. Service is practically non-existent. Very very slow. And unfortunately, not friendly service either. Employees always act disinterested & unhappy to be there.

Basically 呷哺呷哺 from the early days and if it was run by a mom and pop. 2000s Mandarin pop music on the speaker. Decor out of any small restaurant in Beijing, Chengdu or Shanghai.

Is it the best hot pot? No, but it’s by far better than I anticipated in Evansville. Veggies are fresh and fish balls are not freezer burnt. Broth is generic but the place makes up for it with the dipping sauce options. Only negative I can really say is that service can be slow and inattentive.

If you’re looking for an awesome cooking/food experience this is the place to go. If you’ve never heard of a hot pot, it’s basically where you pick your broth, your veggies and your proteins. They bring the broth out to you and put it on a burner that’s built into the table. Then they bring out your veggies and proteins raw and you let your broth simmer and you add the veggies and whatever meat/tofu you chose. Like I said it’s a really neat experience. They also have different sauces to choose from. I really enjoyed this place!

Food was really good but our waitress did not explain anything about it to us so it was a little confusing. We were not told about the sauce bar and had to ask about it as well as I had to find and get my own ladle for the hot pot. And a few hours later my stomach is TORE UP but I guess that could be a coincidence

2nd time to try shabu shabu and this is one is really good. The lady guided us on what to do and told us which soup is better for 2 different kinds. She was friendly and accommodating. Although the fish ball option isn’t what I’m used to, but it is still good. I’m definitely going to try the rest of the menu! The price isnt too bad for eat all you can. Especially there was seafood option!

Truly a hidden gem in the Evansville area! Never been to a place that you cooked your own meal. Great selection of seafood, meats, vegetables and of course noodles. The staff was very friendly and answered our questions along with suggestions. Don’t forget to pick your sauces, they also half plated items as well!
