Absolutely love this restaurant!!! Great salad bar and main entree…better make sure you have an empty stomach! If you leave here hungry, it’s your own fault! Excellent atmosphere and outstanding service!!

It took 25 minutes to get a waitress. It an hour to get our food after ordering. The steak was tough as shoe leather. And the whole fish had so many bones my wife spit out 8 bites and just stopped eating it. The fries were okay but they were only an inch long. Other than bad service and bad food and being so loud I couldn’t talk to my wife setting directly across from me it was great. Sarcasm if you didn’t pick up on that.

Steaks were excellent even mine was extremely tender and good and I order mine well done as usual because I don’t like raw meat and never will. That’s it. French fries were okay although I wish they had steak fries maybe someday they will put them on the menu. But the salad is fresh and crisp and that is heartening.

The proportions are massive so if you want alot of ok food this is a good place. We waited for over an hour, all of our food was cold. We ordered the seafood platter. We were there 30 mins before they opened on a saturday and they were already out of crabcakes. If you plan to eat here I suggest getting there early because they were packed and were lined up at the door an hour ahead of time. The salad bar was excellent. Prices are cheap

This was a very neat place to visit. My wife and I just wanted to have a night together so we went south to Winfield Alabama to eat seafood. They were pretty much par for the course when it comes to seafood restaurants NOT near the Gulf or an ocean region. In other words the food was fried or grilled. Catfish was considered “seafood” and it was all fried in the same batter so it all tasted pretty much the same. The service was good. The servers really did a great job with everyone there as far as I could tell. My water glass never even came close to being empty. I sincerely appreciate that quality in a server.

The food is worth the prices and the employees are always very nice, professional, and helpful. I appreciate great employees that do their jobs and respect customers at any given business, but in the food industry, it makes a huge difference. I definitely recommend this restaurant to all my friends and family, as well as passers-by that are looking for a great meal and great service. If you have a problem with anything, they always fix it and work with you well, unlike many restaurants that are close by. Great food and great service!

Had fried green tomatoes very good. Best part of meal. Also had steak tips with home fries and green beans. First time I’ve ever had tips with no mushroom or onions. They were ok. Home fries covered in chedder cheese to greasy for me. Just tastes like cheese. Most folks ordering the prime rib. Also a bit pricey. I’d say $$$.

I would say that this is your average small town steakhouse. Nothing extraordinary. The service was good and the food was decent. The complaint that I have is that I ordered my steak medium rare and received a steak that was medium in some places and blue rare in others. For the $70 I spent I would have guessed that the steaks (plural) would have been cooked the way they were ordered. Flavor was good though.

I work here and my wife works here for about 10 years. There is no where else around that has food this good and will make sure you leave happy. Southern hospitality at it best.
