I’ve gone here countless times I get the past 10 years and recently I believe they changed their beef, specifically the yakiniku tips (which I almost always order) because it was thin, chewy pieces instead of the steak chunks. Couldn’t even eat a quarter of it before it started tasting weird. Definitely won’t be getting that next time but hopefully it was a one off.

Nice looking interior with a mix of natural wood and stone. It was hot out today but very comfortable with the air conditioning on inside. We ordered chicken stir fry and sushi to share. The chicken was a huge portion with salad and soup. Soup had a nice flavor but maybe a little salty, still very good. The salad was fresh with dressing brought to your table to put on as little or much as you please. Great flavor in the stir fry. We got a California roll, some tuna and crab. All were pretty good at reasonable prices. They also offer lower sodium soy for people that want to lower salt intake. Wait staff is quick and attentive. Overall a good experience. I will be back soon.

I went there for lunch one and another time for dinner. Their lunch specials are nice and come with a large portion of meat and rice.
Their dinner menu is great. I went with 4 other guys and most of us ordered sushi. The prices were reasonable and the sushi was great.
They were pretty quick with lunch, but it took them a long time to prepare our dinner even when it didn’t appear that busy.
I will definitely be back when I’m in the area.

Me and Hubby stopped in for lunch and they were putting up a Christmas tree and were great in spirit.The atmosphere was very joyful and the service was excellent.We ordered 2 New York strip/ shrimp meals with chilled Peach Sake and meal was cooked to order ( hibachi style at their grill that you can clearly see.Awesome chef.Sake was very Refreshing and steak was super tender and shrimp was large and big/ meaty .Great portions.I would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Tonight and the last couple of times we have been disappointed. Just not the same. I get that everyone is trying to save and cut costs but this is a shame. Shrimp hibachi was nothing but rice and onions, soup 1/2 filled, and salad is pitiful. The chicken hibachi was good but again so many onions. I stopped buying my daughter the kids chicken hibachi bc there was nothing to it. Now to the adult size. Just not happy anymore. Come on Yamato… you can do better. Step it up and we will definitely come back!!

They’re very great staff. Great decorations. You can see the cook right in front of you and that is an amazing experience I believe. Every employee has a can do attitude and my cup was never empty. I would highly recommend the filet mignon and chicken combo with fried rice. I honestly could almost taste Japan if I knew what Japan tasted like

I ordered doordash from here and the hibachi filet mignon and shrimp and was very tasty and cooked very well. However the sushi was nearly flavorless and spongey.. i ordered the pick 3 sushi special of spicy tuna, salmon, and yellowtail rolls. These rolls were FULL of cruchies and also even mixed into the fish!! Crunchies are a garnish and i didnt order a crunchy roll for any of them. I ate 4 pieces before i realized what they did to save up on product and didnt eat another bite and these photos got me a refund on doordash. Id come for the hibachi only if i were any of you but definitely not the sushi!!! Even wegmans sushi is better! Possibly even gas station sushi might make you sick but would have more flavor than this!
