Been twice now, with family, once for lunch and once for dinner. Nice Hibachi show, great food, and great customer service. Very clean as well, kid friendly. My 9 and 1 year old came both times. Highly recommend reservations.

Yamasho was a Smamasho. Haha. My friend and I both got Bento boxes that are in the picture. It is a cute place that offers a hibachi option and regular dine-in. The staff was very courteous and the location was very clean. We started with avocado tempura which was very yummy with a tangy sauce. Then came the bento boxes. I had an entree of filet mignon, the gyoza (Japanese dumplings), white rice, pineapple, and I had a Philly roll with avocado, cream cheese and tuna. Yum yum

I absolutely love sushi and I can’t believe this was the first time I’ve been here! What a phenomenal restaurant. My boyfriend and I ordered Sushi for 2 and brown sugar bubble tea and all of it was delicious!
They even accommodated my no avocado request due to an allergy and gave us free edamame. When my partner left his hat, the waitress ran out to make sure we wouldn’t forget it. 10/10 establishment!

We just left here after 10 of us had a Hibachi birthday dinner. This place is such a gem. I called the day before and made a reservation. The staff is super attentive, the chef is extremely talented and the food is dynamite. Cannot say enough good things. Absolutely love Yamasho!!

I was driving across NY state and stopped in for a quick meal. The sushi was exactly what you would expect. The fish was fresh and rice was seasoned properly. Not a lot of frills but good quality and reasonable price. Best sushi in the area for sure!

Food is fantastic. Especially the blackened tuna & select specialty rolls. Service can be a bit aggressive. I don’t like feeling rushed at meals, and they can sometimes continuously push you to order. Somewhat of a language barrier has led to order discrepancies. Overall one of the best sushi places around. Check it out!

Sushi was delicious! My daughter has been craving a sweet potato roll so decided to take her on a little dinner date. We have been to Yamasho before for the hibachi but this time decided on dinning at a table. We started with the hamachi jalapeno appetizer and edamame. The hamachi was absolutely amazing! The fish was very fresh and perfectly sliced into nice generous portions, every piece was topped with the perfect amount of spice. For sushi we ordered the Sweet Potato roll, Kani Tempura roll, Foxy Lady roll, Narnia Fantasy roll, and Surf & Turf roll. The sushi was beautifully presented and was absolutely delicious. Everything had perfectly balanced flavors and textures and everything was fresh. My favorite was the Surf & Turf roll the steak on top was cooked perfectly. I’m always happy to try a unique roll and this one was amazing. My daughter’s only complaint was there was no sauce on the Sweet Potato roll, we just asked for a side of eel sauce and that fixed that. We also ordered the steak hibachi this was also perfectly seasoned and delicious. For dessert we had tempura ice cream and the tuxedo bomb. The tempura ice cream was very good the other dessert was just okay. I thought the presentation of the tuxedo bomb was weird to have it cut open it takes away the bomb part of the cake and doesn’t match the picture on the menu. In all it was a great dinner. The service was very nice and the food was excellent. The atmosphere was okay it was not busy but we got sat close to the door and saw a lot of takeout going out or being ordered, and even if your not there for the hibachi you still will hear it and this can get load. But we will definitely be back for more sushi one day.

The specialty rolls here are very good and pricing seems fair for the area. We have not yet tried the hibachi. I recommend the Cupid raw roll or the foxy lady. We also tried the gyoza appetizer and that was great.
