I had an exceptional experience celebrating my girlfriend’s birthday. Although the bill was somewhat higher, the party and service were truly outstanding. If you’re unwilling to invest in a memorable experience, perhaps opting for a more mundane choice is advisable. The waitstaff graciously accommodated all our requests, attending to every detail, including customized food selections from the à la carte menu.

Food was interesting but portion is very nice.
Jumbo shrimp legit large, sweet potato tots r cool. Zoodles (zucchini noodles) were garlic seasoned very well. Bellini was nice.
Vibe was cool, bathroom needs cleaning.
Men and Women separate room and have stalls in them with an additional big bathroom with a full body mirror. Dryers dont work.

Wasn’t tok sure what to expect but a full bottle of fizzy wine, some food and good vibe make this place worth it.
The food is good, I was expecting far less and far worse but was actually filling.
I had a great time with my friends, we dance for a few hours and enjoyed our brunch there.
Service was a bit slow because we were quite a few but it was good.
I look forward to my next party there!

I booked my birthday brunch here based on the pictures, which made it look like a fun place. However, don’t be fooled — that’s their old location, and it doesn’t look like that anymore. It’s also no longer called Il Bastardo. I was very disappointed; I was expecting a lively brunch party, but it was just a DJ with no other festivities.

Let me preface by saying that we were a party of 12… not only were we seated quickly but we were taken care of, just as fast. People complained online about the pricing but where else are you going to get brunch and a full bottle of sparkling for $100… the portions are HUGE, the bottles come with long straws and if you want there’s a fully stocked bar. If you want Moet they have it, if you want something finer, I’m sure they’ll accommodate you. Overall we had a blast and I would recommend coming with an empty stomach, money, and a good attitude.

I enjoyed the place. Went on Sunday for a birthday brunch. The food was decent. Love the fact that they give you an entire bottle for each person. It’s a bit tight. There’s seating on the dance floor. That’s they only part I didn’t care for. Other than that loud music. Good DJ. Had a really good time. Would come back.

Came here for a friend’s party. The vibes were good dj was playing good music. The food couldve been better. The sangria felt a little cheap for the price we paid per person but it did get me litt.. i would come back if the menu gave a little more food or lowered the price by atleast 10$…the food plus bottle price was a little pricey. The service was good our waiter was very attentive to our table of more than 15+, so kudos to that.

I thought we were going to a girl’s brunch for my friends birthday and when I walked in it turns out at this place is a whole club lol. I did not foresee that. They give you a full size bottle of champagne and that’s super cute. I would recommend it to as a place to celebrate your birthday but be prepared to dance because it’s definitely more of a club type atmosphere than a brunch restaurant.

My cousin found this gem when she came to visit. I have to say I am ashamed that my out of town cousin put a New York native on to this brunch party. This brunch was elite. They give you your own personal bottle of prosecco with your $65 brunch and you can select 1 entrée. The location being in Chelsea makes the price even better. The staff was very efficient, we didn’t wait long before seated. After ordering, the food came quick as well and let me tell you that Mac and those Fries… that’s all I am going to say

My experience here was okay. #1 we had a reservation at 4pm, but then around 3:30 they called us to say they double booked us and moved us to 6pm. That was really inconvenient and not fair. #2 we tried to shoot our shot and tried to go in around 5:15 as we were all already there and trying to wait until 6. They let us sit early… when we got inside there was a lot of empty/free tables.
The menu is prefixed so either you go for the $50/75/150. And of course the more money you spend the better options you get for food. Also the choices of the bottle you receive increases with price.
The food was okay, but it didn’t merit $75. No bottle of mimosa is worth even close to that. Or a chicken sandwich. I understand that the place needs to make profit but umm…

Also if you want to go somewhere and chat with your friends this is not it. It’s extremely loud and dark. So you’re yelling and yelling some more to hear each other. And using your phone flash light to see the menu.
The bouncers outside was my favorite part. Very friendly and welcoming.
