Overall, the food was good, and below are some gentle observations from our dinner experience:
• We were drawn in by the cocktail presentation in the promotional materials and decided to start with drinks. The cocktails themselves were enjoyable; however, the service was quite slow, possibly due to limited bar staffing across two sections.
• The Katsu sando was good, though the butter was a bit heavy on both sides, which slightly overshadowed the flavor of the meat.
• The Hamachi tataki was good and well prepared.
• The spicy tuna rolls did not meet our expectations, as the tuna flavor was not very pronounced.
• The truffle edamame was not to our liking.
• The sake service felt somewhat unpolished. After the tasting, the bottle remained with the waiter while attending to other matters, which made the service feel longer than necessary and a bit awkward.
• Valet service was also a bit confusing. The initial rate quoted for under two hours was $75, later adjusted to $35, and there was a noticeable wait time to retrieve the car.
It is truly a beautiful venue with a wonderful concept. With a bit more consistency and attention to service details, the overall experience could be elevated to match the quality of the space.
The matcha Martini was not tasty for me
It was quite busy, and even with a reservation there was still a wait for our table, but we got lucky and were able to grab bar seats while we waited. The atmosphere is beautiful and feels upscale — there’s even a koi pond, plus a really nice outdoor view throughout the restaurant. It’s a little hard to find since it’s on the 9th floor of the hotel/residences, but totally worth it once you get there.
Perfect spot for a date night or special meal. Highly recommend!
