If you’re craving authentic German comfort food in Fort Worth, Little Germany absolutely delivers! From the moment you walk in, the cozy atmosphere and classic red-checkered tablecloths make you feel like you’ve stepped straight into a Bavarian guesthouse.
The food is phenomenal. The schnitzel platter was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, served with hearty sides like German potatoes, spaetzle, red cabbage, and sausages that were bursting with flavor. The potato pancakes were golden and crispy, paired with applesauce and sour cream — the perfect sweet and savory combo.
The goulash was rich and comforting, full of deep, savory flavor that tastes like it’s been simmering all day. And don’t skip dessert! The apple strudel was warm and sweet with a light dusting of powdered sugar, and the German chocolate cake was decadent and beautifully drizzled with chocolate.
Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the service is friendly and welcoming. Whether you’re familiar with German cuisine or trying it for the first time, Little Germany is a must-visit in Fort Worth.

I love German restaurants and I love this place, cannot recommend it enough. It’s sooo hard to find good German restaurants anymore, so this is a jewel in Fort Worth. Pleasant German folk music, Amy was our waitress and I can’t say enough good things about her and her suggestions. And the food is just bliss, especially the goulash soup and schnitzels and actually hot German potato salad (Kartoffelsalat). The Spätzle was very nicely prepared. And the red cabbage (Rotkohl) was great. Sehr gutes Essen!

Food was excellent, very authentic. The apple strudel was to die for! The waitress was very knowledgeable of the ingredients and recipes. More food then you can eat plan for leftovers or eat one plate for two people.

This place looks like a Dennys that decided to go Taco Bell level German restaurant. And the food also tastes that way…
The sourkruat is like a puree and the red baggage is not much better. The schnitzel is spineless and super plain. The mushroom gravy is watered down and the potatoes are unremarkable. I will say the golush soup was almost ok but the super refined Wonder wheat bread let it down.
I would skip this place, which makes me sad because I so desperately want to find German food in Fort Worth… sigh

An ok German restaurant in a place that doesn’t have many. Went for lunch and you can tell the building could use some updating. Not a big deal
The service was great, albeit a little slow. The food was just ok. They have some good beers on tap, which is a plus.
Schnitzel was alright, the breading wasn’t really my thing. The jaeger gravy wasn’t good. The Gulasch side soup wasn’t great either. Both felt like they’re made in batches and heated for hours or microwaved.
Potato pancakes and sausage were decent. The best thing was the Schweinhaxe, which was HUGE. It was crispy on the outside and relatively juicy inside. It would’ve been nice to have some kind of gravy or sauce come with it instead of mustard, but I wasn’t a fan of the gravy anyways. It was a tad dry in the middle, but great overall. A nice portion for the price.
Overall, I wouldn’t say I loved or hated Little Germany. I wish there were more options in the area, but it’s a long hike to Dallas/Plano for better options. May go back at some point and give it another shot

We missed the German food we ate when we were over there in the fall so we tried this place on a whim. WOW. This place was awesome. The portions were huge and the flavor fantastic. The prices are very reasonable. I could go here once a week and not get tired of the food. We left FULL and with leftovers. 10/10.

German food in a former Denny’s, the staff is fantastic, the music could probably be a little bit quieter, the food is mostly very good, I personally found the apple strudel/cobbler hybrid to be not my speed, although my father loved it. Potato cakes and schnitzel were particularly good in my opinion.

Simply terrific experience on Saturday night at Little Germany. Food was fantastic. I had the combination plate, which has so much of everything. The Wife had the jaeger schnitzel. Wildly generous portions. Both were delicious. Our waitress was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. The atmosphere is not fancy or even emotive of German culture, but it is comfortable and welcoming. Love this place.
