I visited Yamasan last month and it was amazing. The all you can eat sushi option with the hibachi grill and skewers were all delicious, fresh and made to order. I would definitely come back again. I would love to find time to catch their happy hour, too. I had a chance to meet and talk to the owners, Owen and Ivy. They are friendly and welcoming. Owen is the head chef and he did an amazing job with the menu. Bravo ⭐️⭐️⭐️

After running around, shopping and trying to decide on what to have for dinner, we made a stop at Yamasan. After being seated, we kept looking through the menu, trying to figure out what to get. While the all you can eat ($65) was a heck of an offer, it was simply too much food. I went with the volcano ($19) and the California one ($14). The volcano had raw salmon and was topped with vanilla and pieces of fried scallops, it was coated in a spicy sauce which affected my best friend more but mine didn’t have as much sauce. The California shrimp roll was okay but she got the unforgettable and it was tastier. The sparkling yuzu sake was absolutely lovely with a slight citrus flavor and went down easy. Our server was quick with getting our drinks and plates going for us and giving us enough time to catch up.

this was a very unfortunate sushi experience. the menu is very very long and confusing, it’s very hard to find things. the happy hour menu didn’t fully match the rolls available, which was confusing. i ordered the miso soup, the dream a day roll, and some spicy tuna / regular salmon rolls. the tofu in the miso soup was fried, which doesn’t make sense because the soup made it super soggy and gross. the special roll i ordered was basically all kani, very unappetizing and honestly very hard to eat. there was barely any fish, it was honestly pretty ridiculous. the fish in general just tasted like nothing, it didn’t even feel like eating sushi. the waitress was very nice and let us order again. the hibachi was okay, but nothing special. i really don’t like leaving bad reviews like this, but i’ve genuinely never had an experience such as this one.

This has to be one of my top favorite sushi spots! We had 5 different rolls and the presentation was amazing, unfortunately I didn’t get any photos of those because the kids and I dove in so quickly. My husband got the Quartet, he said it was phenomenal and luckily got a photo of that. My youngest also did the smaller order of the teriyaki chicken habachi(which was still a large serving) and 3 of the kids picked off of her plate saying how good it was. The owner came to check on us to make sure everything was going well and even recommend a delicious dessert wine. Can’t recommend this place enough.

I have ordered from here several times and the hibachi has been good, but last night my order was completely inedible. It seemed like the kitchen was busy and I had to wait an additional 15 minutes over the estimated pickup time. All that to say, the chicken and steak in my hibachi meal were completely raw. One bite and I was instantly repulsed. The outside looked cooked but inside was pink and red. When I called I was immediately offered a new meal or a refund, for obvious reasons I took the refund. I appreciated the concern but I won’t be able to eat here again. Consumer beware.

We had an excellent dinner here. Every sushi roll we ordered was delicious. I especially liked the Vibrant Life and Dream of Dream rolls. They also have tempura fried ice cream for dessert, which is so much better than any other fried ice cream.
Our server was friendly, seating was comfortable, and the atmosphere was relaxed. My son kept thanking me for picking this restaurant, and I’m sure we will be back.

At first this was just our go to sushi spot, but after we started ordering the omakase and bento boxes, there was no going back! Last time we had the A5 Wagyu. Delicious. This time we did the kaiseki menu – their “omakase quartet” – wowie, such a good meal! It’s a new addition and we had to go for it. The black miso cod was amazing as a choice.

Was craving hibachi and this place did not disappoint! The portions are huge, more than enough for two people. Couldn’t finish it, but we had a great time trying. Will definitely be back!

Any time you go to Orlando, this should be your first stop to eat for dinner! The sushi is to die for, they will go above and beyond in service, and the one of the owners, Owen, is a delight to talk to. This will always be one of the best restaurants to eat in Orlando.
