Pub food expected. Amazing burger fries and beer delivered. I’d go back in a heartbeat. The service was so great!! Help ordering, great recommendations, … the bacon was crisp, cheese was thick sliced, recommended medium- temp perfect. The fries were so good. Salted, peppered, and I had the bacon blue cheese. Hit me again!! Side full order of green chili fries. Dang!!! Spicy. Crisp fresh potatoes. … and sliders at the table. Standard fries hit the mark as well.

Regarding the Johnny Cash burger, everything they mentioned was accurate. It would be ideal to have a cool beer to wash it down on a hot day. This is not a little burger, so bring your appetite. Even the tater tots are delicious—much better than the ones I used to give my kids from a frozen bag.

One of my favorite burgers I have tried in Folsom! I tried the Johnny cash burger and it was phenomenal. The patty is large and juicy and flavorful. The bacon is crisp but not burnt. The tater tots are simply delicious. They are crispy and have a nice bite to them.

My husband and I tried Samuel Horne’s today for lunch. Great little tap house with a wide selection of beer and decent menu. Loved that the bartender gives you samples of the different brews to help in making a selection. The food was great! My husband got the Johnny Cash burger (delicious!!) and I got the Steakhouse Dip sandwich (equally delicious!!). The bartender accidentally put my order in as the Steak & Peppers sandwich, so I was able to take a bite of that one as well; don’t get that unless you REALLY like spicy food. When the bartender realized her error, she put in the correct order and the kitchen took care of it very quickly. We would definitely return and recommend Sam’s to others. A few things to note: seating is limited and you head to the bar to place your orders.

Our favorite in Old Folsom. Love their beer scale chalkboard with the scale showing hoppy v malty AND the alcohol content. Beer is delish and we respect it. Food is great too! Discovered their fancy mayonnaise on the last visit- basil aioli! Yummm

Staff was friendly had vegan options I had the veggie burger with tots. Tots are nice and crispy like I like. My friends had non vegan dishes that they enjoyed, food was fresh. I would go back.

Ordered the Johnny Cash Burger and Blue Cheese and Bacon Tots. Also got an Angels Envy bourbon which they obligingly put on a single old fashioned ice cube. Everything was great, with no complaints, and I consider myself quite discerning with food and drinks. As I told the barkeep “you’d do fine in NOLA and I don’t say that lightly.”

Had read the Google reviews and even spoke with a local nearby and got nothing but positive reviews about this place but after spending $50 here I’ll tell you BURGER KING has better burgers than the Western burger that we ordered. Absolutely disappointed but i might give them a try again with a different burger and change the review IF that burger will match The hype but currently this place was Garbage
