We noticed this was a new place and had to check it out! We absolutely adored Emily. She was one of the warmest, most welcoming servers I have ever experienced!
Our drinks were always kept full, our food came out quickly. The fish tasted fresh and the noodles were not soggy at all and not drenched in sauce, the nice bed of lettuce was a great touch! Loved the chicken pieces, they tasted great! The cheesecake was tasty as well <3 prices were very affordable.

It was our 1st time here, but this place was AWESOME. I love how they decorated, it was super cute. They gave us free edamame, egg rolls, and peaches. I’m unsure if that’s what they normally do, but I’m into it. They give you chopsticks and a fork! My husband has been to Japan many times and can eat everything with chopsticks, but I still struggle with them like a child. We got the sushi combos (you pick 2 rolls, and it comes with a house salad for $20). I got the Volcano roll (deep fried), and Shrimp tempura roll. My husband got the Iron man roll, and the Super duper roll. Everything was AMAZING!! The restaurant wasn’t crowded, the bathroom was super clean, staff was friendly. I definitely recommend this place to everyone looking for good sushi. We will definitely be returning.

We ordered food to go today. It did take about 45 mins, but the food was freshly made and not cold. I love the Togo boxes the food comes in (definitely gonna keep and reuse) and they gave us a free slice of cheesecake! I highly recommend this place!

Cute inside. Quiet and cozy. Service was great. The staff were all very friendly. My daughter and I got the Candycane Roll, Volcano and Spicy California. Candycane was definitely yummy! I get The Volcano at every sushi spot and theirs was good too! My daughter loved the miso soup. We got the appetizer size Fire Chicken. Enough for us two to share. Not spicy by any means but tasty. I would definitely go back when I’m on that side of the water.

Very good sushi. The rolls are large and full of the good stuff. I had special and got the Hawaii roll. Amazing. Kid even ate all the miso soup, so it’s got to be good. They take the sanitizer thing seriously; individually wrapping the silverware was good touch. And the peaches at the end if the meal were very nice. Stop is and have a great dinner.

This place was super amazingggg!! The sushi was fresh as can be, the presentation was on point, their appetizers are killer good! I was able to take two of my favorite people here in hope they’d enjoy it just as much and it was a big hit! I’m not a seafood eater unfortunately but some Gyoza and a delicious ramen will help with that. The whole atmosphere and look on the inside is a giant cherry on top. Totally worth the wait and came out in a timely fashion when I feel like we ordered a whole lot. Keep it up Yamachen!

I’m from out of town and I was looking for a place to eat some sushi. I decided on this restaurant and I’m glad I did. The food items I had we’re excellent in flavor and seemed very fresh. It was not very busy on the Sunday night but I was greeted with a friendly welcome and seated right away. My server was attentive and friendly and the restaurant seemed very clean. My food arrived great quickly and the presentation was excellent. My only negative comments would come with the decor and they were out of the Sapporo beer that I wanted. Also I thought the restaurant was very dark and it was hard for me to read the menu as part of it is in black background. This restaurant is a must If you want excellent food and I’m glad I chose it from being an out-of-towner. I was given edadame, some small fried chicken pieces and a dessert which were all “on the house”, along with what I ordered was way more food than I was expecting.

It’s a quiet and beautiful interior inside. The food was amazing and the service was good as well. The only disappointment was the cheesecake which was still slightly frozen. I’d return again and again to dine in and can see myself doing take away from there as well. The combo of 2 rolls for $20 is a great deal and filling. The presentation is beautiful.

Came in here for a light meal and was pleasantly surprised. If you’re looking for a high grade dining experience, this may not be your spot but this place knows how to present and execute.
It is not pretentious, but the fish is fresh and well prepared. I would recommend adding an order of maguro, yellow tail, or salmon nigiri to your order for dinner to taste how fresh the fish and how well prepared the rice is. Enjoy! ✨

Visiting the area for the week. Was in the mood for sushi tonight. After some research into the area, I decided to try Yama Sushi Roll House Restaurant. I’m very pleased with this hidden gem sushi restaurant. From the outside it doesn’t seem like anything special. But the quality of the food and service was excellent. It’s a quaint and cozy restaurant. I will definitely be stopping in again during my stay here this week.

Atmosphere is Japanese themed with wooden pergolas throughout.
Staff is extremely friendly and attentive.
Food is absolutely delicious!!
Prices are very reasonable.
