Honestly just amazing. It’s got a quiet and peaceful atmosphere, but it’s pretty cozy as there’s not a ton of seating. They have some beautiful fountains, friendly and fast staff, and super tasty sushi. We started with the miso which was good. It had a stronger flavor that some other miso soups that I’ve had, which I appreciated. I had the dragon room and the pearl roll. In my opinion, the pearl roll (pictured on the right) was the star of the show. With an earthy flavor from the oyster paired with the sweetness of the cream cheese and crab, it was a beautifully balanced and plated roll. I will be coming back and bringing friends

Yama Sushi is a wonderful hidden jewel of delicousness. The atmosphere staff are delightfully pleasant, the food is simply awesome, well prepared, skillfully presented, and plentiful in quality and quantity. I have tried many sushi restaurants and Yama Shushi has become my most favored place to eat, relax, and enjoy a uniquely eastern vibe. My sincerest thanks to the owner and staff for providing a consistently wonderful experience each time I visit!

We ordered the fried gyoza, the #9 combo (2 fried rolls), super duper roll, and shrimp tempura roll. Plus they gave us 4 pieces of the iron man roll. Everything was really delicious and the art/wall hangings are beautiful as well.

Hands down, this is one of our favorite sushi restaurants. We always get the miso soup, the house salad, and a couple of rolls. Our go-to favorite is the Candy Cane roll. As always, we were super happy with the service and food. We love Yama, and we will definitely be back!
