Wanted to try a new place. As we walk in, there is NOT ONE person at the front hosting nor at the bar area. No one to greet or guide us. We are literally just being stared at by the three tables near the entrance. That was awkward!
Food was ok. Plates are $12-$15 per person without considering your drink order. The waffles & pancakes had no flavor. (YES, you read that right!) There was this orange sauce that looked good and was supposed to be an important feature in the Mr. Big burger but was watered down or something, that also had absolutely no flavor. The burger itself was tasty. I asked for over medium “runny” eggs for the hangover bowl and this is what I got. Important because then the bowl would be dry overall (which it was). Maybe it needed more gravy. The biscuit was good, on its own and so were the potatoes.
Although the stuffed french toast had a peculiar presentation because the fruit sauces literally look like mustard and ketchup, I was told it was good. Service was ok. The waiting staff was a bit loud amongst themselves, joking and laughing near one of the entrances. Which is within feet of the tables. I would consider that part of the atmosphere.
I needed coffee creamer and as our waitress was walking by towards us, I called for her attention, “excuse me could I get…” is all I was able to say as she just walked on by me going towards the table next to me. Completely ignoring my existence. Benefit of the doubt, she didn’t see/hear me?? After attending the table next to me, she returns saying, “you needed what?”.
OooooH, so YOU DID see and hear me, but chose to completely ignore me to my face, until you were ready. Ok, got it.
First and last time for me.

If you’re ever looking for a quick bite, you should definitely stop by this place. The decoration is really nice and cozy, creating a pleasant atmosphere to relax in. The menu is simple, which makes choosing a meal super easy. Plus, the service was excellent – friendly and efficient.

What impressed me the most was how quickly the food came out. Everything I tried was delicious and satisfying. It’s a perfect spot if you want a tasty lunch without any hassle.

Hope you get a chance to check it out!

I stopped by on a Tuesday morning and had an absolutely amazing experience. I ordered the French toast with raspberry syrup—oh my gosh, it was incredible. Perfectly cooked, rich, and just the right amount of sweetness. Then came the grits with cheesy eggs… pure comfort food heaven. Creamy, flavorful, and seriously satisfying.

By the time I finished, I was definitely in a food coma—and I loved every second of it.
The customer service truly made the experience even better. Everyone was welcoming, kind, and attentive. It honestly felt like being at home rather than just dining out.

If you’re craving comfort food with a warm, homey atmosphere and fantastic service, this place is a must. I’ll definitely be back.

We had a nice visit for breakfast this morning. We chose the patio since it was a beautiful day. I was concerned we might be forgotten but our waitress was really great and attentive. We had never been here before and were very pleased with the service, food and cleanliness of the restaurant. Oh! Let me mention that the Belgium waffle is sooo good! Crispy but fluffy just the way I like them!!

The server Christopher was very attentive to our needs. He wasn’t hovering over us however, he was never missing. Great atmosphere. Plenty of parking. The food for the most part was very good. I loved their shrimp and grits. My wife enjoyed her southern comfort breakfast.. my only ding is, I feel that with biscuit being a part of their name…. the biscuit could have been better. I like my biscuits cooked all the way through. I felt the middle of the biscuit was very doughy… besides that.. the food itself was very good .

Food is great but service not so much especially on the weekend because they are so busy and crowded. I prefer to order to go and pick my food up.

It was our first time visiting the Flying Biscuit and we were pleasantly surprised! Food was delicious and very unique, and the service was exceptional! We had the stuffed French toast and the Nashville Dirty bird, paired with a mimosa flight! There was so much food and it was absolutely delicious. The place was very clean considering they just had their peak crowd hour.
Our server Taylor knew the menu pretty well and made really good recommendations. The manager Prince came and checked on us several times and made sure food and drinks were good! We will definitely come back.

Everything was fantastic, especially our server. Sunday brunch is popular here so, if you’re in a hurry, be prepared to spend some time. However, good things are worth waiting for! Most of the breakfast items were decadent and incredibly delicious. There were a few healthy dishes and our server had no problems suggesting substitutions.

Oh & the service is great! The restaurant is clean & neat. This is definitely my new go to for Brunch or a quick bite. Overall 10/10

Our server clearly had a servant’s heart. The leadership team wasn’t able to get the front of house coordinated, but the experience was semi-decent. Pricing however was outrageous for the quality of service and portion size. It was $3.99 for a single cold sausage patty that was from the freezer or low quality. It was also $3.99 for a side of gravy. Portion sizes were half of what I’d expect at the prices. Spent around $55 for two meals, and they were sub-par.

I am hoping this place improves. I’m still looking for an American style cafe similar to the ones I grew up with in Colorado. So far, no place even comes close to decent service or quality in Houston TX.

Leadership needs to set an example of great service, and train people more please. You can make this team work! As this is a national chain from what I can tell, I don’t know what you can do about portion sizes or prices. Those two things are the only thing keeping me from coming back.
