I’ve been looking for good sushi in Charlotte and this is definitely a favorite. The rolls we got were absolutely delicious and service was great. Nadia was a great server and super accommodating with my allergy. Will definitely be recommending and returning!

This place has an awesome vibe and ambiance also valet parking out front complimentary. Greeted by beautiful hostess upon entry. The drinks were nice very nice it was 4 of us and we had mojitos. We were seated quickly and our kool waitress Aubrey I believe was her name was very nice and fast and attentive. She was super fast and answered any and all questions. We ordered a lot of things from the Specialty rolls menu and the Nigiri side and everything tasted great and was very fresh. We are from NYC so we can be strong critics but this place did not disappoint. We expected to be much more expensive but it is much cheaper than we thought by a good amount. We all agreed this was a great place, great food great ambiance great decor and great vibes and we will gladly return.

My husband and I were in town for a basketball tournament and decided to try Yama Loso (on valentines night). We were promptly seated at the sushi bar and proceeded to have one of the most amazing experiences we have ever had. The sashimi and nigiri was absolutely amazing- melted in our mouths. The Wagyu was sumptuous. And the sake was delicious with an amazing variety. And our waitress Bella was fantastic, absolutely adored her. The ambiance was inviting and beautiful. We love sushi and sake and if we lived in CLT we would go here every weekend. We will definitely be back next time we are in town. Thank you for such an amazing experience!

I order the Yama Sushi Bowl and it was surprisingly really delicious. My partner order the Spider & Morrison rolls. We came for dinner at 8pm and the ambience is very pleasant. Outdoor seating was great. Would definitely recommend this spot for fresh sushi

I totally splurged at Yama Loso and it was worth every penny! Started with chicken satay as an appetizer, followed by three different sushi rolls (wish I remembered the names, but they were all excellent). We also got a bottle of sake to go with it, which really elevated the whole experience. For dessert, I went a little adventurous with the matcha passion fruit cake-loved it! It was a bit citrusy for my wife’s taste, but I thought it was unique and refreshing. The vibe is great, the food is high-quality, and for what they offer, the pricing feels fair. Plus, they offer valet parking which is a big plus in this area. Definitely a must-visit for sushi and Japanese food lovers in Charlotte!

The staff at this restaurant is truly unmatched. We waited for our table by the bar and were greeted by Bella, who was incredibly sweet and welcoming. Our server, Dahlia, went above and beyond, checking in often, describing the menu thoroughly, and being an absolute doll overall.
The bites were fresh, melt in your mouth delicious. The restaurant itself is vibey, modern, and not too loud, perfect for a relaxed yet elevated night out. I’m so happy we found this spot and can’t wait to return.

Had a great meal with coworkers toward the end of a Tuesday evening. We had exceptional service from Ashley in spite of the fact we were one of the last tables to walk through the door. She was extremely knowledgeable, polite, and attentive.
The food was top notch.
The Trumpet Mushrooms were a great start, along side the Ebi Shumai. The Tuna Truffle Crisps were a perfect bite, and all of the sushi was fresh and well prepared.

One of if not the best place I’ve dined at in Charlotte. The atmosphere was great, and our server Dahlia was incredibly friendly and positively contributed to our experience! The food was INCREDIBLE. The truffle edamame had me speechless – I want some more right now lol. Sushi was fabulous and they also had an amazing cocktail menu (Bella at the bar was also very kind) will be returning here ASAP

It was so good I went two days back to back. My servers were two different bartenders and I unfortunately don’t remember their names but both amazing and so friendly! They have a lot of rolls to choose from and each one was fresh and flavorful, and the smaller plates were really good also if you’re not into sushi!

My first impression of this place was that is it very elegant. Then I sat down to order and my waitress was so kind, attentive, and overall a joy. She even asked “may I wrap this up for you?” when I asked for a to go box. The food was fresh, tasty, and put a unique spin onto classic sushi dishes. This is a must stop for date night, gals night, a special occasion, or even a random day to treat yourself!
