Went here for a late dinner and was not very pleased with the food or the service. The food is average. I had no opinions about it and neither did the people with me. The lady who was hosting us was not very friendly or maybe it was just too late in the day for her. Being a Ramen fan i was completely disappointed by the ramen. The only one bowl of Ramen I couldn’t finish. It was just too bland. The appetizers were the best part of our meal and that was about it. Maybe we ordered things that aren’t their specialities but not a fan. If you are going here specially for Ramen I would suggest going to a different place. Everything else is good. The place is clean and has a good ambience.

This is the third Yama I’ve been. The first one that serves Chinese.

I have been to almost all of the Yama locations and they never disappoint! I would highly recommend them and the service is great too! The prices are pretty fair as well and they stay open until 2 am!

Authentic izakaya food. Sushi was fresh and the sashimi salad was refreshing. Chicken karage was crispy and juicy. I wish they pan fried the onigiri instead of grilling them.

A triple threat of Japanese, Chinese & Taiwanese dishes. Ramen soups very tasty and stirfry dishes excellent. Sizzling tofu is delicious and the best orange beef I’ve had in DFW. But wait there’s more…

Best sushi place in Plano! Their late night special after 10 PM is a stable for us and they have the best nigiri!

I came for the ramen while I was sick. And honestly, it was disappointing. The soup was barely warm. The ingredients were not hot. Plus I found food string in my noodles. They charge $1 for half an extra egg. And the chasu pork was soggy.

Unhappy with Octopus Sashimi portion size. Definitely not worth $16. You can get the same portion at Kura Revolving Sushi Bar for $5.

I don’t usually find that places that do both Japanese and Chinese do both equally well. I haven’t tried the Chinese here yet, but the menu looked legit. The Japanese food was good!

The best place for ramen in my opinion. Tonkotsu ramen is the best! I love the shrimp rolls they offer. There can be a wait but when you want sushi late it’s a nice place to go. I always love going to izakaya!!! The rolls in the picture was tempura shrimp, salmon roll, and a California roll.
