Outdoor patio is very nice and has great music. It is clean and well light. I don’t really like QR Code ordering, but understand the growing need – it was quick and easy to use, easy to pay and allows you to leave when you please. I got the half wings and fries, which was perfect for a late lunch, along with the Mule. The wings were so good and the Mule had a heavy handed pour so was great for the price. Visiting for a meeting but the server was so nice confirming my question about a bus app! Great service, great food and good prices! Visit if in DC and need an affordable bite to eat!

Dawgs & Deliciousness: A Winning Combination!
What an absolute spot to watch the Georgia Bulldogs pull off a win! The atmosphere was electric, and the beer was perfectly ice cold – exactly what you need for game day.
All the food we tried was fantastic. The corn dogs were delicious, and everything else on the menu was spot-on.
My only tiny critique: I found the fried pickles were sliced a little too thick, which made them not quite as crispy or flavorful as they could be.
That said, every other dish was perfect! A must-visit pub for any Dawgs fan.

Loved sitting in the breeze watching traffic and people walk by. The wings were so good we didn’t even mind sticky fingers. The sliders are more filling than they look. Loved the choices of draft beer too. We enjoyed our time there and will be back

Go DC Bears Fans! What a fun place to be a Bears fan! We came here to watch Bears vs. Packers, and the service was spectacular. There were lots of screens and seats for everyone to be comfortable. Music was bumping. I would 1000% come back. Only note is there could be more menu items for different diets.

I went to Union Pub for its heated outdoor seating yesterday evening because I was meeting relatives, one of whom has health issues and didn’t want to be inside. Problem was that they had too few heaters for the space and they had run out of propane so that some of the heaters that they did have were not working. After being told I had to place my order using a QR code, I was told the system was down. Instead of taking my order, I was told I would have to wait for the system to come back up. One of my party went inside and ordered directly from the bartender and got her drinks with no wait. I would not recommend this place. There are many other options in DC with better service.

Why is there a “4% tech surcharge” for ordering through the QR code at the table? What’s that about? If there’s auto-gratuity, it would benefit to be upfront about it, people will understand. How much does the staff here get paid if you are able to order online? Who knows how much you should tip here. The service was alright, but being unclear whether they get paid makes things confusing as the customer.
The cheese curds look like they were homemade and battered in house. That is more than I expected but correct me if I’m wrong. They were a little light on flavor/seasoning but still gave us more than enough.
The rest of the food, including burgers, fries, and sauces, could have been better. There are a lot of great concepts on the menu, and a location and venue that could really excel. Do some work on the recipes and you could really have a great pub here.

So I came all the way from Vegas to have a great time with friends, and we made plans to eat at union pub. The atmosphere was nice, but unfortunately the dining experience differed. We had a party of 8 and they couldn’t get anyone’s order to the right place and they forgot to bring out requested items. This is not a fan fave and I recommend that you save your coins if you can or try something else!!!
