Passing through and saw this place. Really good food. Probably one of the best chicken fried steaks I have ever had. If you’re not a big eater I suggest sharing this plate as I struggled to choke down the last few bites.

I think the atmosphere was really nice and Texan/western. The food was kinda mid and I got fries with my steak and I was not impressed because kid you not they gave me like 5 singular steak fries (I added pictures and I swear I only took one bite of my steak because I forgot but this is what the steak comes with if you order steak fries). Sucks that they charge you for switching out your salad and beans. I also felt that the steak was really good but I wished there were roasted jalapeños or like more salt/pepper added. It wasn’t bad or anything and I would come again but I wasn’t particularly impressed.

Don’t judge a book by it’s cover.
I’m on a long trip and run 500 miles a day and love a great steak for dinner. I found this little gem in a small town, the place is small but clean filled with farmers, ranchers and locals.
I ordered 8 oz filet with bacon wrap and a loaded baked potato at a reasonable price. It was excellent and they used local beef. I love to support small businesses that are in towns that are slowly drying up due to whatever reason. ( I’m sure you know the reason) They are the backbone of America. Try it you will not be disappointed.
The whole menu is more than pleasing!!!

I gave it 3 starts due to burger bun being soggy. They should toast both sides of the bun to keep the structure stronger. Also, onion rings still had raw uncooked powdered inside. The actual patty was delicious though.

Just okay. It was a nice piece of meat and cooked well. There’s two issues. First is the price. Pricing places this restaurant in Wendel’s price range. It doesn’t measure up. Next is the taste. Whatever is used as a rub is bitter. Same goes for the asparagus. Waitress didn’t seem prepared and they were out of our first choices of beverages. … won’t be back.

Let me tell you!!! This eat was one of the peaks of our visit to the area. Everything is homemade and delicious! Steak was cooked a perfect “medium” the baked potato was perfectly cooked and the beans!!!!! My husband’s chicken fried steak was huge. I’m excited to return to try the fried catfish and shrimp!

Great steak. Service is friendly. Remember it takes a bit to cook a steak properly. Love the sweet potato with toasted marshmallows!

My girlfriend and I visited Y’alls while in NM for dinner. We were seated quickly (only one other couple in the restaurant at ~5PM). It did take a bit for the server to ask for our drink orders as well as our food orders, but the food itself did not take too long to be brought out. We both ordered a medium-rare ribeye steak, I ordered a loaded baked potato as my side and she ordered fries. We got the steaks “New Mexico Style,” which I enjoyed but my girlfriend did not. The steak is smothered in pepper jack cheese and green chiles (my GF thought there were too many chiles on hers). Steak was cooked as ordered and the potato was great! My GF also enjoyed her fries.
Overall, good food, average service, solid southwest atmosphere. Would recommend.

Nice, efficient service. The steak was cooked as requested.
Crackers for my salad would’ve been nice and maybe some bread with my meal. I have gone back twice since my first visit. Both sweet potatoes and potatoes are great. Beans (pinto, not baked) come with the steak, a nice addirion. The establishment has local character and is a refreshing change from franchises.
