Came for restaurant week in Apex and so glad we did! Every single thing was so delicious, the goat dibi and the achomo were our personal favorites but everything was great. Staff was super welcoming and helpful, the decor was super fun. Will definitely be back!

We had our girls’ dinner at Yagg Sii Tenn yesterday and it was absolutely AMAZING! The food is authentic, flavorful, and truly delicious. We each ordered something different, plus appetizers and desserts, and shared everything. Not a single bite disappointed.
If you love hot and spicy, the wings appetizer is a must-try, and the Tajine dish was incredible. Don’t forget the fried ice cream croissant for dessert. The portions are very generous, so you definitely won’t leave hungry. Having traveled to Africa many times, I can say this restaurant captures that same spirit of hospitality, where feeding people well is a priority. I left both stuffed and completely satisfied.
I also loved that they display photos of the dishes around the restaurant so you know exactly what you’re ordering. Papa and Yagg are such wonderful hosts. Their hard work, warmth, and generosity truly shine through.
We all drove over an hour to get here, and it was 100% worth it. This is a 10/10 dining experience, and I’ll be telling everyone about this gem. I’m already looking forward to coming back in a few weeks. Thank you, Papa and Yagg, for such an incredible food journey through Africa!

This place made me a huge fan of African cuisine. I had the Dibi with lamb and it was super delicious. The lady taking care of customers was super nice and friendly. The atmosphere was really fun, all Africa themed. I rarely give restaurants 5/5 stars, but this one definitely deserves it. Will definitely be coming back for more.

Every city needs a restaurant like this. We had the peppah soup (so spicy! so flavorful!), mbuzi with goat and fufu, carrie and jollof rice, plantain soup, piri-piri wings, maffé, and jolof eran. So delicious!

This was our second time dining here, and it was just as wonderful as the first! We first came to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and this time we came back for my daughter’s birthday, both experiences were absolutely amazing. The staff is always welcoming, the atmosphere is full of warmth and culture, and the food is simply delicious. As a seafood lover, I ordered the Riz Gorée again, and it was bursting with rich flavor and perfectly cooked. This place never disappoints! Definitely one of our favorite spots!

Very creative menu and excellent self-bottled juice drinks. I love finding new menu ideas and this place has an overwhelming menu of delicious looking food, representing the cuisine of different African countries you won’t find elsewhere in the area. I had the lamb wrap and my wife had the curried vegetables. Both were excellent. I got one of their $6 self-bottled juice drinks (Moringa lime mint) and it was the surprise delight of the day. We will be back to try some different dishes. Highly recommend.

The owner was so sweet and helpful with my son, letting him play the drum while we waited for the food. Juices and drinks also sooo delicious! Food was so flavorful the whole family loved it! Will be back again soon!

Hidden international restaurant with good food. I got the chicken curry with fufu and egusi. Both had nice flavor and fufu wasn’t dry. The fresh homemade juices were great, they even let you sample them before buying. The servers were nice and asked how the food was. Would come here again

This is such a cool concept where they are trying to represent the food across the entirety of Africa. Capturing the food diversity of such an enormous continent is not easy but this is such a wonderful tribute. The food is so delicious and the folks very kind and gracious! Loved our first time here!

I’ve been to Yagg Sii Tenn several times now and it hits EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Arguably the best halal restaurant in the entire triangle area. Everything from the Yasa Ganar (Jerk Chicken), Tajine, Oxtail, Jolof Rice, etc is always so good. The Mishwi and Kuku Curry are some of my favorites. Also the hospitality and help in making decisions is always superb! Definitely dine in too and enjoy the Africa shaped plates too! Highly Recommend!
