So, I guess a few pieces of my chicken landed in ” fish” grease. The chicken is extremely greasy. The chicken is tastey, but unable to fully indulge due to grease. Can be salvaged with the air fryer cooking the grease off! This was my first and last visit. Everyone can’t eat fish,and I’m glad I noticed before someone became sick.

Yaffa engages in illegal advertisement practices, advertising a low price, but when you go to purchase the food, they charge more. Their 30 wing combo was advertised at $29.99, but when I went to purchase at the register, they rang it up for $42. Their chicken over rice platter is advertised for $8.99, upon ordering they charge $10.99. The Philly cheesesteak combo was advertised for $9.99, upon purchase they charged $11.99.
Some items actually have 4 different prices advertised, having one price advertised on the window, another price labeled on the pamphlet, a third price on their website, and the fourth, highest price when you go to order at the register.
They refuse to honor their lowest advertised price. Its a shame to see a long standing corner store in this neighborhood take advantage of the same customers that have been supporting it for years.

I like Yaffa…it’s good food compared to the previous owners and for the location. Almost every time I go I keep my mace in my hand because there’s always someone walking up on you asking for change and such. I’m from the hood it’s cool but trust no one. He used to have a security guard not sure what happened there. I like their bacon double cheese burgers they are heat heat! The wings are cool if you get the big ones and not the small ones he will do a switch-a-roo on you. They slushes are flame. Ask for seasoning salt on your fries. Thank me later. I’ll upload for pics. PS. Yes this location takes food stamps with a small fry fee of like .50 cent or a dollar.

This place is a lifesaver the food is good but also they offer services to people who have EBT given the area a lot of people are using EBT and sometimes can’t afford it but they offer these services with the payment of a frying fee. And even though sometimes people can’t afford the frying fee they offer a small frame fee of 50 cent which is convenient for people who are already using food stamps to purchase food.

This is one of those restaurants that is for the people. They always show love and the food is definitely good. The prices are low and they give you REAL FOOD. If they ever close I will be upset l, sad, and hungry. Lol I don’t eat there everyday but I would if they had more sides
