The food portion was mostly good. I got the stew beef and this was amazing along with the peas and rice. My side dish was cabbage and I was not pleased with that portion size or overall taste. Good taste overall. Plantains were good. Looking forward to my next visit.

Hands down the best ackee and saltfish breakfast I have ever had. Why? All of it cooked to perfection, if there is such a thing. The callaloo is superb! That ackee and saltfish was amazing! The provisions were boiled to perfection. I am not exaggerating…look at the picture for yourself. If you want a taste of the authentic national dish of Jamaica here in South Florida, this is it!

Today I went and ordered 2 small oxtails dinners.. The total came up to $49… Between both of my oxtails plate I got a total of only 10 pieces of ox tails… Man if I paying $25 for a plate of ox tails I need oxtails… So I called and ask them what’s going on with the little amount of oxtails and they said u only get 5 for small & 7 for a large lol man please they petty counting oxtails… they wont get another dollar out of me ill take my money to Simmer down or Top taste Bull… And my ox tails was cold… I don’t mind paying $25 for a plate but make sure its worth it and has just a little more.. my plate of oxtail looked like someone already ate out of it how skimp it was… never again

The lady at the front taking orders today was very rude and unpleasant. I came here today at 12:30 PM for a lunch special and waited in line for over 30 minutes!!! Only to be told that I couldn’t get the lunch special and that it wasn’t her problem. She let multiple people skip the line and when called out by other customers, acted like nothing happened. I spend money here all the time, but after today’s experience, I will never spend my money here again. It’s sad that one person can ruin it for everyone. SMH.

Highly recommend this place, especially for their lunch specials. Between 11am and 2pm, it’s $7 for a huge portion of jerk chicken (or other similar options), rice and peas, cabbage and gravy. Also comes with a soda or water so an all round good deal. Friendly service too.

Delicious food, generous size portions, and friendly service. It’s too hot to eat indoors (86 degrees inside!). Otherwise this place is fantastic. They gave tons of chicken. The beef stew gravy was the best I ever had.

First time eating from this place. I gave a three star because the amount of food given could’ve been better. I got a lunch special. The meat was already small, I could’ve at least gotten one or two pieces more with all that rice. Plus I didn’t get the steam cabbage like I asked. I got oxtail for my mom, she got everything but they gave her ONE fried plantain! Apart from that, the food was great and I believe the prices are reasonable
