The food is pretty good I’m from South Florida so I’m used to Jamaican food maybe my judgment on Jamaican food may be a little bit more strict since I have a wide variety of it but for it being out here it’s not bad south Carolina

Yaad in Darlington is an absolute gem! The oxtails with rice and peas, plantain, and cabbage, and the curry goat was excellent. Every single bite was full of rich, authentic flavor, perfectly seasoned, and that unmistakable West Indian soul that’s hard to find done right. The food was fresh, hearty, and made with real love. You can tell the chefs know exactly what they’re doing. If you’re craving true Jamaican flavor, this is the spot. We’ll definitely be back!

We ordered the mixed plate- jerk chicken and curry chicken with plantain, Mac and cheese and rice and peas. Also oxtails with rasta pasta and plantains. The oxtails were excellent, very tender and tasty. The chicken dishes and plantains were equally as good. We will be supporting this restaurant again

Yall this food was good! Im not usually the type to even leave reviews like that whether a place is good or not bc Im shy and dont want people to see my name lol. However, this place has really good food. I know it may sound as if Im exaggerating, but this is the best Jamaican/Caribbean cuisine I’ve ever tasted in my 36 years of life. I dont know who they got in the kitchen, but it seems like they are very intentional with the flavors. It was soooo delicious, I wasn’t expecting that. I had the Brown stew, Rice and Peas, Mac n cheese, Cabbage and those PLANTAINS (cooked to perfection with those yummy crisp edges). Im still shocked. Usually places with really good food dont usually take Doordash orders. Their food was good yall, if yall are debating which Caribbean cuisine place to choose in the area. THIS IS HANDS DOWN THE BEST! Im still shocked, wow. Thank yall for opening this restaurant, yall are gifted frfr ♥️

Love the oxtails my mom brought me a plate from here and I’ve been addicted ever since. Some places can be stingy but they have good portions and the service is fast and friendly ❤️

Food Was Absolutely Amazing As Always & Their Shelves Were Fully Stocked So I Was Able To Purchase Some Extra Goods While Waiting On My Order. My Meal Only Took About 8 Minutes Before It Was Ready. While I Shopped For Cinnamon Water Crackers & Spice Bun, My Food Was Already Being Made. Atmosphere & Staff Was Amazing As Always! I Was A Little Bummed That I Haven’t Been Able To Get Any Curry Shrimp Since They Never Have Any When I Go But The Other Options Are Worth The Drive Too! Definitely Recommend!

Nice place and gives that authentic vibe. However the menu prices are not up to date on here and the Cashier seemed mildly annoyed, though the food and beverages there taste great.

Bought a cup of Chicken soup, while the flavor was good, for $10 for a very small cup of soup with a small piece of corn and 3 spinners in it is a rip off. It was not worth it and will never buy again from your location. Overpriced !!!

You all know when I’m picture free the food was delicious. 10/10 recommend we tried the food truck and it did not disappoint will return next time with pictures friends. Jerk chicken peas and rice and plaintains.
