We venture to Long Branch in search of tempura for lunch (yum) for National Tempura Day!!
Ku Ra Sushi and Ramen offers many tempura choices, from shrimp and veggies in the usual batter… to shrimp and chicken tempura rolls (huge!).

The restaurant is small, clean. Looks like a nice place to enjoy a meal. We had takeout. Well packaged and warm when we got home.

Just found this restaurant this week. Needed dinner late on a Tuesday night. Great ramen is sometimes so hard to find. I loved it and their sushi was fresh, I was probably one of their last customers of the night. You wouldn’t even know it.

I never review restaurants, but I’m specifically going out of my way to review this one. Super friendly staff (they’ve remembered me each time I’ve gone after the first- three times total now), and solid service. The fish is very fresh, and the quality has been consistent. Their ramen is very filling, and is exceptionally tasty, especially their Shio Garlic ramen. Like I said, I’ve been three times already, and it’s only been a week. Definitely will be a consistent regular.
