I’ve waited to write a review after I’ve ate here a few times. As an asian who has ate pho all my life, this is the best and closest to my mom’s I’ve found. IMO, this is the best pho in KC and I’ve been to just about all of them (vietnam cafe, pho lan, pho bowl, nguyen pho, etc.). The broth is 100% authentic, very aromatic and full of flavor. You can taste all the spices come together perfectly. You know immediately this is a perfected, tried and true recipe passed down generations. I’ve tried the rare steak & seafood pho and both are great; the meat is perfect in both. The bowls are like $14, very reasonable with the quality and amount you receive. The egg rolls are great and the sauce is bar none. It’s very flavorful and unlike any I’ve tried. The service is super fast too.
An older couple runs this place and they are very personable and welcoming. The place, however, is definitely on the smaller side. My fiancé overheard the people next to us say it feels like you’re in someone’s home but in a good way and I agree. Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend this place.

This is the best Vietnamese food I have had ever! If you can drive and get here, I highly recommend it. We had the chicken Pho, the lemon grass chicken and the chicken Bahn mi. Every dish was incredible!! The broth was light and amazing, the lemongrass chicken had so much flavour and the spice was just right. The bahn mi was so savoury and the bread was so fresh. It’s like the best home cooking! Light enough to feel good and satisfying enough to feel satiated!! This is my new favourite go to! The older couple who run this place are sweet and welcoming! I will definitely keep coming back!

Ordered Ca Ri Ga, Bun Cha Gio Thit Nuong(chicken), Thit Nuong (Banh Mi). The Banh Mi was one of the best in town. The bread is the game changer, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It just melted through and also the grilled pork was delicious. The Bun cha was great as well. The chicken in Ca Ri Ga was perfectly cooked, meat falling off the bone. But it had a bit of raw turmeric flavor to it, which I don’t appreciate as much.
The place is family run, by a veteran and the chef is Vietnamese. Will definitely be back.

Ordered pickup and it was ready quickly. I ordered pho and spring rolls, both of which were delicious and with large portions. Even though my time inside the restaurant was brief the atmosphere felt authentic, interesting, and clean. The customer service was excellent and from a veteran. He wished me a happy new year and taught me about the Vietnam New Year and pointed out the fruit offering. I love that he had a passion for the culture and was open to sharing it. Next time I’ll order in and stay a while!

This is my favorite place to get pho (I always grab the pho tai, it’s incredible)! The owners are some of the kindest people I have ever come across. I usually don’t eat out by myself and I live about 40 minutes away but every time I’m nearby I take myself out here. I have also made some fun purchases here, like a zodiac charm I carry with me. Overall, it’s a place with amazing food and a very loving atmosphere.

Stopped in today, all the tables were dirty, atmosphere was dirty. Husband at the counter advised me to order up front and to let him know if I had questions. I asked what they put in their bun bo hue, he didn’t know. I asked if it was beef or pork, he didn’t know. Told me to ask “mom,” she was busy in another conversation. But when “mom” was asked if it were beef or pork, she just waved her hand with a major nasty attitude, signaling the single basic question was interrupting her oh so important conversation. I’d never come back & id suggest you don’t either. Especially since they don’t know what’s in their dishes. I’d give them a triple zero if it were possible.
This establishment and the owners do not care about service, product or even the establishment itself. They only want your money, cash to be exact. No wonder why they didn’t make the cut at the Saigon Plaza up the road. They should be embarrassed to even have a restaurant while treating paying customers poorly. I’m sure they’ll be closed soon. If not with foot traffic, it’d be closed by the health department.

We seriously love this place. The service is as good as the food, and the food is to Vietnamese food what Q39 is to KC BBQ. It’s a treat start to finish.
The owners are a husband and wife who always engage with us before and after we eat, shooting the breeze, giving mini Vietnamese lessons (My Xuyen is pronounced “me schwin” and means North American village), or checking to make sure your food is what you wanted – especially if you ask for a customization.
Can’t recommend it enough.

This was my first time trying Pho and this place. It was absolutely a 10/10. The service was super nice and the owner is so kind! The man behind the counter was super sweet too! I had the P1! If you never had Pho start with that! The broth was amazing!
