If I could give xtreme 6 stars I would! I should have know from the reusable insulated bags this place was nothing to play with! Chef kiss delicious food and presentation! Pork belly buns, Korean chicken, spring rolls, ramen. Me and my family ate like kings. Even my son was impressed by everything. One draw back was the grub disregarded my delivery instructions and left the bag on the fence for anyone to come pick it up.

Pardon the Late Review.

Couldn’t forget to thank Xtreme Ramen and Bun for their fresh and delightful dishes. When vacationing nearby, this establishment was a blessing! My friend was suffering from a bad case of food poisoning acquired from a hot food bar on super bowl Sunday. So, when finding a place to eat, we had to be extremely cautious.
Thankfully, we came across Xtreme Ramen and Bun.

The first dish tried was the vegetable ramen. When I tell you this is the only fresh and authentic cuisine offered at the Apollo, I’m not over exaggerating. The bowl was filled with a variety of beautiful vegetables and a mild broth. The first thing my friend was able to eat with their sick stomach. Of the dish I loved the mushrooms! They tasted as though they were seasoned well before marrying the broth. Overall, anyone with a tender stomach would benefit from this comfort dish.

On our next visit, we had the Tonkotsu Ramen. This dish is more hearty than the previous bowl. The egg was cooked to perfection and so were the tofu pieces! There’s a full Umami sensation with each bite. Overall, I must say we regretted trying another location on a different day during our trip. Lesson learned, when in the area- Xtreme Ramen and Bun is the only choice! You’re not eating anything that’s commercial- rather, you’re taking a bite from home.

Thank you for the delicious meals. I look forward to you again next year!

I am pissed because I paid for 2 extra soft boiled eggs and when I got home there was only one and that came with the meal. I tried calling several times and it keeps saying the number I am trying to reach is not available to take my call. If you’re going to charge a ridiculous price for a half boiled egg, provide the customer what is paid for and at least have a working number to address an issue like this. It took me 40mins round trip and I expect some compensation for this inconvenience!!!

the food was SO good, portions were huge and service was quick! For $20 (including tax and tip) you get Ramen, chili oil, and karakage (fried chicken).

I ordered a Tonkotsu bowl (that was a buy 1 get 1 free deal) and what ever is being used to cook the pork and broth, gives off an unbearable odor. It just made it hard to eat. I’ve had Tonkotsu ramen at many restaurants and their pork NEVER had a foul smell. The fact I had two bowls and had to air out my office after disposing the pork was enough to deter me from purchasing another dish from this shop. I would not recommend their Tonkotsu Ramen to anyone, don’t be fooled by the buy 1 get 1 free deal unless you can stomach the smell.

One of if not THE BEST CHICKEN SANDWICH!!! in the DMV

Get the fried chicken bun. I’ve had 6 in the span of a month. The last two I had were to ween me off of them…but they still hitting.

This is a hidden gem for not only flavor but portion size.

You’ll know what I’m talking about when you get the first crunch from their signature breading.

This is a real review, I just had to leave one after realizing how much of this I ate and it still tastes good.

And the service is quick…and the food hall location is chill

I always order from here. It’s hard to find ramen in the immediate area and they do it soo good.

I was coming home from a long hard day and I had a taste for Ramen they close at 10pm I arrived at 9:48pm and I was told “We Close”
I said but it is not 10pm. She said we close 10 minutes early and that all the other places close 10 minutes early too.
I have been there a few times before so I like the food but that customer serves is terrible
We close at 10 mean you take orders until 10
My order would have been at least $50 and the would have kept a happy customer.

Very Disappointed

This was our first time eating at extreme ramen and we were excited to find a ramen place close to home. I ordered the ramen, but when we went to eat it it had an overwhelming and not pleasant fish odor. It was supposed to be a pork broth. And the pork looked weird, fatty and tough. I am truly disappointed and will continue to get my ramen from downtown.

Food was decent. Not poor. Not special. Unfortunately, they ruined a birthday dinner. They bait with a first time order discount and then conveniently forget to add all the items you order. There is no way to contact them as their phone is inoperable. Watch them and be sure to check your order.
