Met a friend for lunch. Love the fun decor. The service was great. They give you chips and salsa to start with. I got the crunchy Xolos Wrap, which had way too much queso in it (it made everything soggy inside) BUT I want to try the fajitas here, because I know they will be quite good. The ingredients they use are fresh! I just ordered the wrong thing.

I just finished the corn ribs…fantastic flavor. Great price. Great portion. Here come scallops and belly tacos. I already see that they’re going to be good too. Thank you for the flavors!

Food taste really fresh and really well spiced. I think I have found a Mexican fav. The enchilada sauce was very complex flavor – almost grassy and really fresh tasting, the chimachanga sauce was light and not thick and pasty.. service was super friendly, attentive and knowledgeable.

We are new to NC and Chapel Hill area and decided to stop and try an early dinner here. Never heard of it nor been before. Originated from the Bay Area, CA where there are plenty of Mexican restaurants. I gotta say, and being 100% honest here… I had the BEST and HUGEST and DELICIOUS Burrito I have ever had!! Soo much taste and amazing flavors! And not one, not two, but 3 types of protein inside, along with beans and rice and explosions of amazing tastes!!! It had chicken, carne asada and some spicy chorizo!! The server was pleasant and explained some of his favorites, of which included this burrito. HE prewarned me that it was HUGE and I would definitely be taking some home! I’ll see about that I said! Ha! He was right! I took a third of it home! Anyway, totally looking forward to going back and I am definitely having the same thing!!! Look at this HUGE work of art!!

I love everything about this restaurant! There are so many vegetarian options and the food is extremely fresh and flavorful! There’s plenty of parking! It justifies the track to Southern village from Cary!! I wish they would open up another branch in the Cary/Apex area. The prices are very reasonable, and there is quite a variety of dishes! The kids really enjoyed their Cali burrito and Crunch Wrap stack! Fresh elevated Mexican cuisine! And the ambience and the decor of the restaurant is adorable ! Extremely clean and inviting as well … Five stars!

One of the best new restaurants in the Triangle! I’ve almost tried every dish, and I can say that they have all been so flavorful! The food feels healthy and every time I leave the restaurant, I’m not left feeling stuffed and uncomfortable. I generally feel very comfortable and well fed. The service, the food and the environment are all perfect.

The ramen was so delicious and perfectly spicy for this cold day. Also margaritas are as beautiful as they are tasty. Grateful i found this place while in town for work.

We stopped by on our way through the area and we are so glad we did!
The service was great, the margaritas were delicious, the food was amazing and authentic. Highly recommend the tlayuda’s! Such a unique and delicious dish.
Outdoor seating was nice. They had tables with shade, some with sun, and kid friendly seats & games to keep the kiddos occupied.
If you’re in the area, or even if you’re not, stop by and give it a shot!

This place is awesome! It’s bright and cheerful, colors are bold and ecclectic. The food not only looks pretty, but it tastes like a painting come to life!

Reading all of the positive reviews, I think perhaps I may be the problem instead of the place. I’m not a fan. I’ve had chili rellenos all over the country. Most of them are with Anaheim or poblano peppers. This one was served with an ancho pepper which was slightly sweet and not to my liking. This place must have a little higher level of Mexican food that I’m used to. Instead of the typical ground beef based selections, my chili was served with bits of steak which were tender and tasty, but again not to my liking. The mixed vegetables that were served with the the plate were excellent, and my favorite part of the meal. The refried beans were not of the same taste as what I’m used to. So perhaps I am the problem and not the place. But if you’re looking for your typical Mexican Fair, then this is not your place. Servers were delightful and the atmosphere was classy, price was reasonable.
