So I have seen this place for a bit now, and I love a good melt. So I have been meaning to give it a try, well today was that day. Very disappointing .
I ordered the “Hot Mess” and that was just what it was.
Firstly, correct me if I’m totally out of my mind, but isn’t the whole reason we call them a melt is because they’re supposed to actually have melted cheese on them correct? No cheese at all. The meat was dry. With a cheap, sat under a heat lamp on a buffet table all day taste, or scraping the corners of a pan that sat all day on the heat table texture and taste. And this should have been thrown out, not served. My middle school cafeteria did better in the ’80s. That’s not saying much. then as a part of the meal they include french fries, could you provide any less, there are literally only a few fry sticks in a big round bowl. This must have been a joke. Then I get to the drink. I ordered the orange juice. So they give you a normal 8oz cup, that is only 70% full. Can’t even fill the cup, really? It’s not even a big cup.
All and All paid $15.60 plus tax for this, plus delivery fees, and driver tip totalling $30.92. And I would not agree to pay $5 for that, taste is a 2, serving size is also a 2 out of 10. Not doing this place again. First impressions matter.
I say skip it, not worth it. My 10 year old could have done better.
