We had such a great experience at XLB Kitchen in Cupertino! The soup dumplings were the star—perfectly delicate skin with flavorful broth inside, very filling. The fried rice was packed with tender meat and vegetables, very flavorful, wow! The tender Mongolian beef had just the right balance of spice and savory flavor. Everything came out fresh and hot, and the portions were generous.

They serve complimentary hot tea, and they also have beer available, which makes it a great spot for both casual meals and get-togethers. Service was quick and friendly, and the outdoor seating made for a comfortable dining experience.

Definitely recommend this spot if you’re craving authentic dumplings and flavorful dishes—we’ll be back for sure!

I like the Xiao Long Bao, it does taste good. I’m surprised they only have one waitress for lunch time tho. She’s done a good job handling all the customers and they make food super quick! Impressed~
(Tho food-wise, I’d give 4 stars and 5 for xiao long bao)

I don’t know who these people are that are giving XLB anything less than 4 stars but we’ve been here countless times and it’s our favorite dim sum in the area! Get to know the owner and you’ll be glad you came here often enough to get to know her. She’s the best! We come here often on Sundays but we also come for lunch on Christmas Eve with our family. Our favorites include the Mixed Cilantro with Dry Shredded Tofu, Mixed Fresh Cucumber with Garlic Sauce, Szechuan Chili Oil Wonton, XLB, Green Onion Pancake, Pea Shoots.

Quick lunch. The soup filled dumplings were delicious and exceeded my expectations. Fried chicken wings were good. Service was efficient and hot tea was immediately brought to our table.

Met here a few times for meals with friends and family. XLB is great, nice and thin wrap with soup. We order pork belly with sticky rice, tasty. Won ton soup is good as well as fried rice and noodles. My friends love the chili oil won ton. Service is nice and efficient. If you have a group, make a reservation. It can get busy at lunch and dinner.

Food was delicious! Beyond the great food was the excellent service. My little one was being super fussy and the manager was so accommodating and understanding trying to console him as well and trying to give suggestions but he was super sleepy and wasn’t having it but we really appreciated her support. Will definitely plan better and return. The braised pork was my favorite.

We’ve been going to XLB for years and they have some of the best Shanghainese cuisine in the area.
Their ingredients are always fresh and they can accommodate changes for dietary restrictions. I always order their dishes meat free, as I am pescatarian at non-halal restaurants. We also order takeout because the restaurant is slightly small and they are always busy.

Before I went pork free, they had some of the best xiao long bao. My family still enjoys it but looking for a restaurant outside of LA that provides these options

No extra fees or surcharges. Thank you XLB Kitchen for the honest, inclusive menu pricing and please stay fee-free.

I enjoyed our meal, especially the spicy dishes. The portions are hefty and it would be totally reasonable to split a main between two adults of average appetite. I’m not an XLB expert, but they seemed ok, except I wish they didn’t stick together because when you try to separate them, they tear and spill the soup.

Outdoor seating: The dining patio seats a fair number of people. It is very well shaded with umbrellas and decorated with string lights, plants, and a garden fountain.

Outdoor seating in the shade was nice. The XLB was on the sweet side, but good. The combination fried rice was highly recommended, but it was a disappointment. The beef was very starchy. The older waitress was very grumpy. I hope her day will get better.

Nice outdoor seating. We made a reservation through Google for our party of 9 people. The table was ready for us when we walked in.

Service was good and fast.

We ordered too much food because we wanted to sample different dishes. We ended up bringing some food home.

The food is decent but not with wow’s. Good for causal family dinners.
