This isn’t our first time eating here; this time, we wanted to write a review for this charming little mom-and-pop eatery in the Sugar Land neighborhood. We appreciate the consistency and deliciousness of the food served here. This is one of the best places to get lamb noodle wonton soup. The hot, delicious, and well-seasoned lamb noodle soup always hits the spot, regardless of the time of day—be it breakfast, brunch, or dinner—or the weather. This lamb soup will make your day 100 times better.

We have been coming here for the past 3 years. At least once a week!
Consistently good. Lamb noodles, spicy noodles, beef noodles, chicken wings, even tofu with peanut sauce is great!!

Not sure what these bad reviews are for! Must be the competition trying to destroy good place!

Had the Shanxi oil noodles and they were delicious. Noodles tasted freshly made and had the right texture, not too soggy. One of my first times ordering noodles without protein but the flavor was so delicious and savory, I did not miss it! Everything together worked so well for the oil noodles. We also got the cold noodles to contrast the warm noodles and the flavor was so refreshing. The cold noodles didn’t look like it had much going on but don’t be fooled, it was so tasty without be overly greasy. Cannot wait to go back and try other noodles. Of course we also tried the pork burger and it tasted good! Pulled pork is very tender and flavorful, although a bit greasy for me. And we topped it off with a Chinese orange soda. We went on a Saturday for lunch but it wasn’t too busy. It’s basically walk in and order then seat yourself. Food came out pretty quickly. Would definitely recommend.

The buns were stale and had a strange smell. The meat filling had lymph nodes in it. Such low-quality ingredients! Another meat pie was so tough and dry in my mouth that it blocked my throat and nearly choked me to death! Their cold noodles were just okay. It was the only thing I could eat. I won’t be going back.

The food is excellent!! We went there with kids and all of us loved it. The wait is a bit but totally worth it. The space is limited and they are short staffed. Give these guys a bit room and let them grow.
We ordered the braised tofu for appetizer. It is a cold dish. The taste was new to me. It was alright, could do with a bit more flavor. We ordered the beef noodle soup, the Henan lamb stew and the Shanxi oil noodle. The oil noodle was the best followed by the lamb stew and then the beef noodle.

Small restaurant inside Jusgo supermarket serving Henan province cuisine! The chicken is tasty but has hidden spiciness to it. The Oil noodles was really fresh and the sesame noodles!

It’s a small noodle shop for good noodles. The lamb noodle soup is really authentic, and their chicken is also flavorful. The decorations make you feel like you are in a local Chinese store right next to your neighborhood corner. Although the price is not cheap, it is worth the price.

A small shop inside Jusgo building. Very authentic Henan cuisine! Noodles are fresh and visibly handmade. Awesome flavor and texture – highly recommend when in the area

Small place but food is great. It is northwestern chinese style food. Focused on noodles and small dishes. The “oily noodles” is one long piece of wide noodles made by hand. The hot tofu noodles have very unique flavor and is only mild spicy. The marinated roasted chicken (it is not really roasted.) tastes very good. I have heard the Chinese pork burgers are super but they were sold put when I was there. The price is reasonable and the restaurant is small and cozy. Not a fancy place but a nice place for a quick meal.

Update 11/04/2023: Still so delicious. Definitely better when eaten fresh from the kitchen instead of to-go. Shanxi noodles got the perfect bite and flavor. Best thing here hands down.

Awesome, authentic place for a quick bite inside Jusgo in Sugar Land!

Came for lunch on a weekday and got their Shanxi oil noodles, beef noodle soup, marinaded cucumbers, and the pork burger.

Everything was super delicious. The Shanxi oil noodles were my favorite, it comes topped with some chili oil and special house sauce that is ridiculously tasty. No meat on this thing, only bok choy, but it’s so good you don’t miss the protein.

The beef noodle soup was very tasty as well, though fair warning it is a bit herbally and has a pretty strong kick. I found it delicious but if you’re adverse to strong Chinese herbal flavor, you may not enjoy it as much.

The cucumbers were well marinaded and reminds me of my childhood. Very light and refreshing appetizer.

The pork burger was very good too, with a bun that’s crunchy on the outside and soft, slightly chewy inside.

Everything here was made fresh to order, so there can be a slight wait time from when you order to when the food gets to your table. It’s truly a mom and pop shop that’s also mainly self serve, so don’t expect table service here. Orders are placed at the counter then you grab a seat to wait for your food.

I highly recommend this place for authentic northern Chinese food. The menu isn’t huge but what they do serve are exceptionally good.
