Normally, I go to kings wok. Today, (Monday) they are closed. So I went here to xing xing kitchen and I will no longer go to kings wok. Their food is amazing. I saw a review on their general tso chicken, extra crispy, and ordered it. It’s great, definitely try it out.

Check what they charge you. They always overprice your food. The worst customer experience I have ever had with the rude Chinese window lady. I ordered the lunch special and she charged me way higher price for my lunch. When I asked her why the charged, she became agitated and started an argument. I asked her to cancel the order and give me a credit back and she went to the kitchen changed the order removed the egg roll and came back with a messy lunch special. It was a very embarrassing moment. I will never come back to that place. If that woman is the owner, she is mentally disabled to be the person in front. Stay away from this place.

Not my go-to place for good take-out. Was in the area, and the neighboring restaurant was closed so we stopped here. The lady was very rude when taking our order. No pleasantries whatsoever, despite our extreme politeness. The food made us both sick after. Never again.

I went here because I had a tast for Chinese food. Unfortunately it was another disappointing outing. Now I will preface this review to say, I am not Chinese, obviously, and I do not know how traditional Kung pao chicken is made. But I will say that, I’ve lived in a lot of places in the US and visited a number of countries, and I love kung pao chicken and have eaten the dish for 25 years, and NEVER have I seen it breaded and deep fried. So when I opened the box, and looked at this dish, my heart sank. Also, I asked for EXTRA spicy and it had no spice at ALL, I had to put hot sauce and red pepper flakes on it to spice it up. Also, the dish came with white rice, which I had to switch out with fried rice, which was pretty much white rice dyed light yellow with cut up carrots. I will not be back.

I ordered two lunch specials. Shrimp with garlic sauce. The day after Hurricane Ian drenched Lakeland. Got it in less than 30 minutes. The woman at the counter was focused and efficient. Awesome, considering there was no stop traffic in and out. The sauce was slightly sweet and a little spicy because I ordered it extra spicy. It was very satisfying. The egg roll was cold, which was disappointing. I noticed a pile of them sitting on the prep counter. But, for the day I visited, it was understandable. The customer ahead of me ordered $114 worth. She must have had 8 different dishes on her order. Two large bags worth. So, I give them 5 stars for their good food and fantastic efficiency. Great communication in the kitchen!

My husband and I stopped for lunch. We got a beef with vegetables lunch special, egg rolls, lo mein, won ton soup, and their homemade tea. Every single thing was perfectly cooked and delicious. The place was very clean and we feel we have found “our” Chinese place now.
