This is the best Mexican food I’ve had in the area! It’s a super cool spot hidden behind a small grocery store. Once you get to the back where the restaurant is, it’s really nice inside. The people there are SUPER nice too. Loved chatting with them. This has maybe become my number one recommendation for food you should try if you’re in the area. Also, very reasonably priced, especially considering the prices in the area at other restaurants. Triple thumbs up!!

This was a great discovery, I drove past this place every night heading to the gym and I had to check it out. So I finally did and it was awesome! coming from California and recently Texas i know a little bit about Mexican cuisine and they delivered, you’ll have to go through the front store to get to the restaurant in the back it’s a bit small but it’s everything you’d expect except the beers and you can bring your own it’s BYOB. You have got to checkout the store!!!! truly authentic Mexican pastries, seasonings, dried peppers candies etc. etc.

I work around the corner from this place and decided to give it a try today. I am a Mexican Food Fanatic and really enjoyed this Special Shrimp Burrito. It has a different flavor than most burritos I have had, and it was delightful! Can’t wait to try their Pastelitos!

The food, service and prices are great. Everything must be made in house and ot tastes like it. The spicy green sauce is amazing. Can’t wait to go back to try more.

Really awesome and authentic food! Very affordable and huge portions. Everything was so fresh and came out piping hot, including the homemade tortillas.

Ordered chicken tacos and chicken chimichangas.
All the food was amazing and you could tell everything was made in house and fresh. The store in the front of the house also has everything you need to make your own authentic Mexican food at home.

Argh! I was so excited to go back here after I learned that it reopened. This used to be my favorite Mexican restaurant. Unfortunately, things have gone downhill in a major way. The food was below average at best. The chips were soggy that came with the salsa for our appitizer. The tortillas that came with our meals were as thick as a pancake, which over-powered the taste of everything that was within. Of the 4 of us that were there, only one somewhat enjoyed their meal. On top of the below quality food, the service was even worse. We were the only ones in the restaurant for lunch and our waitress never once came to check in with us after we received our food. She stood at the register the entire time on her phone. We sat the entire service without drink refills or other items that we needed. On top of that, the waitress accidentally knocked over my daughter’s drink when we first got it. She cleaned it up but didn’t bother asking to get her another. What a shame. Hopefully they can turn things around quickly!

This restaurant was closed for a few years after COVID and some unfortunate weather-related incidents, but they have now reopened and are just as good as ever! The chicken quesadillas are still delicious and reasonably priced. The staff is very attentive and kind. I would go here over Chipotle any day, 10/10 recommend!

Authentic Mexican. Prices have gone up just a bit after the pandemic, but still worth every dollar. Enjoy.

After going years ago, and hearing recent reviews, I decided to try it again. It looked like they redid the back for better lighting and more open seating. Although small, it felt cozy and welcoming. The take out I ordered was ready on time. It all smelled and looked homemade. The double corn tortillas and fall apart meat on the tacos gave it a real authentic feel. I can’t wait to try more.
