✨Celine was our server, and she was awesome — super friendly, attentive, and always checking in on us. She truly made the whole experience so much better.
The food was great for an all-you-can-eat spot. Everything tasted fresh, and the marbled beef was especially delicious We ate a lot and left very satisfied.
Good food, great service, and a fun overall experience.
Would definitely come back and highly recommend this place! ✨
For combos and à la carte, the staff grills everything for you, while the AYCE experience is self-grill for those who like to be hands-on.
We opted for the AYCE option with kimchi stew, steamed egg, cold noodles, and corn cheese. They also gave us Melona ice cream bars, which was the perfect ending.
The space is modern and elegant, service was attentive and we had a great overall experience. Definitely a solid addition to the Buena Park KBBQ scene and a place I’d come back to.
What really surprised me was the quality of the meat — definitely above my expectations for an AYCE spot. The interior is also really well done. I especially liked the fire-themed wall feature; it gives the place a modern, upscale vibe. Their salad bar was also decent and had a good variety.
Overall, a solid start for a newly opened KBBQ restaurant. I’ll definitely be back once they settle in!
We were brought items we did not order, which created confusion instead of adding value. Additionally, the banchan did not arrive for nearly an hour, with no clear communication or attempt to address the delay.
What stood out most was the lack of professionalism. There was no acknowledgment of the issues, no apology, and no effort to recover the experience.
Given the price point, the service fell well below reasonable expectations.
Unfortunately, this is not a place we would return to or recommend.
They’ve got set combos that you can order from, but we went with the all-you-can-eat option at $50 per person which is not even their highest tier but already SO worth it for the high-quality meats and unique sides you can get, like katsu and curry at KBBQ (say what??), kalgutsu, which is Korean knife-cut noodles in an umami broth, and the soybean paste stew is EXCELLENT.
And let me just say, the boneless short rib is an instant standout. I also like their ribeye and I’m super picky with my steaks.
This spot is for those who crave authentic Korean barbecue in an upscale atmosphere, great meat and great ventilation.
Thanks for reading! ^-^
One of the first things you notice is the staffing level, and it makes a huge difference. There are plenty of servers on the floor, which directly translates into better service and a smoother dining experience. Staff were checking on tables every five to ten minutes to make sure grills were clean, meat was cooking properly, and everything was moving along.
WYN offers a lot of flexibility in how you want to dine. They have tiered AYCE options, set course meals, and à la carte ordering. We chose the Diamond AYCE to try the widest variety, and it did not disappoint. The salad bar is worth checking out for sides and sauces, and everything was fresh and well stocked.
Meat quality was easily a 5 out of 5. Cuts were well marbled, portions were generous, and grill changes were handled perfectly. The pacing of the meal never felt rushed or neglected, which is not always easy to pull off at a busy KBBQ spot.
The ambiance was lively but comfortable and set the tone for a great night out. That said, the smoke and oil buildup is noticeable. Ventilation could be improved, so do not wear anything you care about — expect your clothes to smell like BBQ and plan accordingly. Rice paper could also be kept fresher to ensure that the edges don’t get hard.
Overall, WYN is a solid choice with amazing service and excellent meat quality. We will definitely be back, though next time we plan to try one of their set course menus. Highly recommended if you are looking for a well-run KBBQ experience in Buena Park.
