After my food delivery job took me to KCK, I decided to try some good BBQ. This was the closest place and had enough race reviews to get me interested. I recommend ordering ToGo or pickup because the parking lot was a swarm of cars trying to get parking at 7:00pm. I was impressed when I picked up my food. Three piece of bread for a quarter, generous portions of the meat and delicious onion rings (with a few fries accidentally mixed in). I liked the fries too. The meat was very tender and the sauce was tasty with enough zip to make my mouth burn a little. But I’m a fan and have enough for another meal or two. Note: They DON’T deliver and are Not on Door Dash or any food delivery apps.

Stopped in for a quick lunch. Small joint with a neighborhood feel. Nothing fancy. Stool seating at the counter as well as tables and booths. Ordered the short ends with a side of beans. It was good overall.

I know there is a lot of discrepancy back and forth on this place and whether it is good or bad but we have never had a bad meal here. Yes it may seem a bit dirty and dated from the outside but that is part of the charm. My husband introduced me to this place over 10 years ago and it is a must stop anytime we are within an hour of the area. That is how much we love it. We usually have the same standby, beef sandwich and fries – it just never disappoints.

Our air bnb was down the road from this place so we gave it a try. They had some decent BBQ here! I had the burnt ends and my son had the mixed meat plate (came with ham ribs and brisket). Both were really good! My only complaint is they didnt have a variety of sauces and the baked beans were mid. Those burnt ends would’ve been so good with some spicy bbq sauce! At busy times im sure this place can be a little crowded but it wasn’t when we went.

I’ll start out by saying we arrived the last hour they were open so I didn’t expect much. To my surprise, the ribs were great as if just cooked, not dry. I order with sauce to the side so I can taste the ribs before. I actually preferred without the sauce. Not saying it was bad, but the ribs were fall off the bone delicious. The rest of our food was average. The shrimp was most likely fresh out the freezer. The person behind the counter was pleasant but never served us. We picked a table and ordered at the counter and picked up our food from the counter. All in all, I would go back for the ribs and maybe try something else.

If you want bang for your buck, this is it. From a burnt end sandwich the size of my head to endless pickles on a burger without even having to ask for it as well as HUGE sacks of fresh cooked French fries. The food was delcious, every bite, and the BBQ sauce on the burnt end sandwhich truely melted in my mouth. I strongly recommend this place and their wonderful, friendly atmosphere and delcious food.

Wyandot Barbeque is in a class of their own. A long time fixture at their KCK location, they have served what many, many customers have found to be the best, most original barbeque in the entire country. Consistently tender and flavorful. Plus their barbeque beans are truly delicious, and the fries are perfectly crispy outside, tender inside.
Customers are welcomed warmly upon entering and the atmosphere is just wonderful. When you get out of your vehicle, the aroma of smoked, delicious food is in the air. We have enjoyed Wyandot Barbeque food for many years and for me, no other barbeque comes even close to the outstanding dishes prepared there!

Came in around 8:15pm, for a quick To-go order. The shorter young lady was pleasant start to finish. The taller one, I didn’t like her demeanor. She slap the receipt on the counter, saying, “Sign.” I asked for a pen. She said, “It’s right there.” I did not see it under my keys. I informed her that as well. From the reviews, her attitude is normal. She needs to take hospitality training or not work customer service. If you do not like your job leave. Thank you to the shorter one for great customer service. The rib dinner was accurate and tasted good.

My most recent visit. the food tasted much better. Very busy took time to order. The food is still filling and priced well. Idk if it was just a good day. I’ll be checking that the food is constantly good.

Entered through the back door. Right now, the front entrance is closed. The food is just okay! Some of the reviews say best in KC. In my opinion, this BBQ is at the bottom of the list. I rarely visit this location. They do serve big portions for fair pricing. The fries would be better if they cooked them longer and added seasoning. The BBQ sauce makes the fries taste better. It does not take long to receive an order. The workers are friendly.
