Server was prompt and attentive, and our drinks were always full. The menu is massive, so we settled on an appetizer and sushi. The yellowtail cheek was decent, but rather than the side of sauce, it could have benefit from a seasoned/basted preparation. The sushi was very solid. I am not normally a specialty roll kind of sushi eater, but that Honey roll (I know it’s out there) was sweet, spicy, fruity, fresh and flavorful. I would driver the 1 hour + again just to get that roll!

Wu’s house locations always have the best food. We get their hibachi off the menu every single time. We get sushi sometimes too, but I’m not cultured enough to say if it’s better or worse elsewhere. It’s delicious to us. Some locations do share plates, I don’t know if it’s only certain times but this one didn’t when we went. Nevertheless, delicious food and generous portions.
Staff here are efficient, friendly, and attentive. This is the gold standard for restaurant staff. We have never finished a drink without getting asked to refill it, they bring out food quickly, and are always nearby.
They bake in an 18% service fee. As much as I’d love to complain, I still tip on top of it. Maybe if all these garbage reheated Sysco food restaurants copied the Wu’s house model, they wouldn’t be struggling.

This restaurant by fire exceeded any expectations that I had. The portion sizes are enormous. The food was fresh. The staff and all people who worked there, including our server, was absolutely wonderful. The establishment was clean. And the service was fast. It was not difficult to get a table there. The most important thing I would like to say in this review is that the food was out of this world and the lunch menu is a very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend this to family friends. Or people visiting out of town. I will definitely be returning with my friends.

Our family LOVES this place. We probably indulge in WUs weekly at this point. They have the BEST chicken fried rice. The sushi is fresh and perfect! I absolutely love it here, and I do not have one complaint!

Was very dead in there. Server was polite but felt like she was hovering. Food was decent. Big portions. Overkill on the sauces and dressing though. Way to much. All in all it was a decent place. Clean for sure.

Hit or miss here, came for a birthday with several family members, everyone enjoyed the food. The service was fast, food very good, but I think it’s inconsistent. Sometimes you get a good plate other times not as good as before. Because we eat here a lot, we notice the difference. We enjoy coming here and recommend to anyone, definitely enjoyable!
UPDATE: May 2023- these guys are still very unorganized, they have carry out orders squeezing in between ppl waiting to dine in. They should have a separate pick up area from dine in customers. We’ve been coming here since it first opened and we gave them enough time to get organized, but 2 yrs later, still unorganized and food is hit or miss. Some locations serve the food a certain way and others differently, you don’t know if your orange chicken will be good or bad, disappointing. Chefs should all be trained to prepare food the exact same way at all locations. That’s the idea behind a franchise.

Wu’s Chicken and Vegetable Tempura is the best around… st the Mokena location. The batter is so light and flavorful. I love the servers. They are all pleasant, friendly and attentive. Prices are reasonable.

Attentive staff, clean atmosphere, spacious seating, and fresh food. We ordered the Godzilla roll, Alaskan roll, Dragon roll, miso soup, clear soup, vegetable tempora, Hitachi noodles with steak, regular rice, and shrimp fried rice. Everything was fresh & delicious. Food came out timely. The waiter was very sweet.
